This is a step-by-step video on how to adjust a watch strap to the perfect size.
After watching this video you will be able to adjust the strap of a watch like Casio Vintage type or some retro watch. Or any watch with a pressure buckle closure bracelet, mesh bracelet or Milanese type.
To have it done we only need an object that has a thin and flat tip (like a small screw driver), to apply pressure on the inside of the buckle, lift the buckle, release the mechanism and make the adjustment by sliding and increase or decrease the length of the buckle on the strap. This system is very similar to the one used to change the buckles of some belts.
It may be necessary that throughout the year you have to redo the adjustment of the strap, because of changes on the weather, in warm weathers the wrist swells and feels like the bracelet reduces in size. And during cold weather it feels like the bracelet expands. To counteract this phenomenon, we need to make some adjustments depending on the weather or time of year.
