I have a hard time understanding mechanical tasks. After watching this video one time I went to my attic and adjusted my water temperature. This is the most useful video I have found on youtube for accomplishing a task quickly!
Our electric bill was going up so we had guy out to look at hot water heater but after her left it seemed like we ran out of hot water faster.. I saw your video and when my husband was out I turned power off and proceeded to do what your video showed!! My husband thinks I'm jack of all trades..lol thank you great video
This is soo helpful. I am a new home owner and I don’t have money to pay for every little task that needs to be done in my home. I called the manufacturer for help, but since the water heater is out of warranty they told me to call a plumber. I consulted my RU-vid plumber instead thank you!
Thank you so much. I had been living with mediocre showers for 4 years now. I wanted hotter showers but I didn’t think that I could do it myself. I certainly didn’t want to hire someone to do it. I decided to see if RU-vid had any videos on it, and low and behold there was your video. It was the fist one that I watched and the only one that I needed. It took all of 5 minutes and now I have hot showers again. God bless you
Truely appreciate the tutorial. I never knew it was this easy. My wife is happy with her hotter water and that means I'm happier. Can't wait to watch more of your videos. Please keep them coming
Thanks! The maintenance man at my apartment is very sweet but yesterday he installed a new tub faucet. He instructed me on how to use it, left is hot, right is cold, then he went on to lecture me about how I needed to be careful that I didn’t scald myself. Y’all, I’m 46. Anyway, he mentioned he thought my water was too hot. Before I could tell him I liked it that way, he cut me off and started talking about something else. Unbeknownst to me, he turned it down before he left. Now, my water is little more than lukewarm.
Can't thank you enough for this video! Nearly 5 years ago I moved into a condo with this same water heater. Was never happy with the not quite hot enough water, but didn't have a clue how to adjust it, with no visible temperature control. I flipped off the circuit breakers, & it took me all but 5 minutes to adjust it. I feel like I have a new hot water heater!
Dude dropped his screwdriver... I wouldn't recommend soliciting this man for any of my tasks "at hand".. I find it rather intriguing that you shoot a "promiscuous" winky face to this jake from state farm kaki wearing lil ugly ass dude... Holy balls lady if you dont have a man at home to adjust your water heater going about it this way in some states is a felony... Sheesh lady. I love jesus and jesus loves me
@@chrisshock9465 Lighten up there, Chris. You mad at her because she made a wink face to this guy, who dropped a screwdriver..., all the while, you having no lady? She made a smiling face because the guy helped her, made a video to show her how to adjust her water heater. You mad, because guys like this making videos like this,, and worried then that women wouldn't have any use for a "man" like you. Jesus has nothing to do with it
As a Home Inspector of 22 years thanks for the clear instructions. Just want to bring to your attention The Federal Pacific panel can start house fires and the breakers may fail. - Should be replaces. Also the P/T pipe is missing on the water heater and is a major safety issue.
THANK YOU!!! I knew about the top adjuster, didn't know about the bottom! I adjusted my top one forever ago and I wondered why it never made it any more hotter - now I know.
I literally just try it. I made sure I turn that power off I put mines on 135 degrees. Something telling me I should have turn it up 140 lol 😂 thank you. You was a lot of help ❤️
Thanks for this video! My water was way to hot, I adjusted thanks to this video. I was use to adjusting gas powered water heaters so I needed to see this video.
This is something that my girlfriend need very bad bcuz her hot water take forever to get hot and thanks to you i just went dwnstairs and turned it up.It was set @ 120° and i set it @ 140°.That should make a difference but if it doesn't,i'll turn it up a lil more.Thank you sir!
Can you really get electrocuted by not turning off the power to the heater? Seems to Pretty safe without that step.. I'm going to try it without turning it off. If I don't respond then you know I'm dead.
Rev You`ve made me fucking laugh. I hope , you are still alive(and warm), not cold and six feet under! Yeah, it is unnecessary step, but the one compared to directions on let`s say a condom package: "use with care, as there is %0.1 chance of failure, if not used properly. Shit happens! Well, in the end I have turned it off as well, just in case. Back in Poland we used to say"God protects the protected ones"("Strzeżonego Pan Bóg strzeże".It`s all about common sense:)
Our hot water heater is only 2 years old but the water takes forever to get hot.Been a problem for years, even got a hot water pump and still did not work on all faucets.I will set it to the max today and hope it don't burn out. Thanks
