Thanks for the explanation on this. I’ve mastered getting my mix how I need it by cocking water different amounts and adjusting my sh valve accordingly but ive never figured out why my settings are never constant consistent mix. Thanks Kenny! I know now …my plumbing isn’t shotty work! I spent countless hours breaking everything down, reconfiguring and rebuilding only to still get inconsistent mixes and alot of frustration. Looking forward to your next technical video
Yes. Each system is different. Once you understand your own set up it's easy after that. Thank you for watching my videos! FYI - The only way to get a perfect mix every time regardless of tank levels etc. Is to pressure feed each mixing valve all the time. But that would be a pain in itself.
Glad to see you posting again! Very good breakdown. I think people get to hung up on percentages, once you use your equipment enough you should have a feel for the mark on your metering valves that is effective for whatever application you’re completing. I implemented a rotometer on my SH side of the manifold that allows me to see exactly how much SH I’m pulling. I mainly tried it to be able to see exactly when I start pulling SH instead of spraying and hoping I’m pulling only really knowing when I smell it and see suds on the surface. So it took all of the guess work out of starting up! Anyway hope you have a killer season! Wash on!
That's exactly why I won't use a manifold. I batch mix for roof washes. Which I don't do many of anyway. Which is why I'm so passed my bleach has been diluted. But I was buying 5 gallon jugs. We'll see
I'm not sure how your coming up with S/H is 22.22% heavier than water. For every gallon of S/H you buy your getting 87.5% water. All that I know is if you spray S/h on a house and it melts it off with in a few minutes your mix is good.
Plain water weighs 8.35 pounds per gallon, so SH weighs 22% more per gallon for the solution (12.5% active ingredients and 87.5% for the water that is the carrier) So the SH weighs 10.2 lbs per gallon and the difference in weight of each solution would require a different amount of suction through the system In order to have an equal solution going out of your nozzle.
The specific gravity of sodium Hypochlorite is 1.2 and you'll see it on SDS sheet. That means it's 120% denser than water. 1 gallon of water is about 8.34 Lbs but 1 gallon of SH bleach is about 10 Lbs.
@@housewashing5693 Good morning uncle house wash! I love the work and knowledge that you share. I'm using the free trial Markate. I'm likso far but still learning how to use and navigate through. The payment portals I'm not sure which one is better for receiving payments. I'm familiar with Square but not of the others. I like Square because it provides instant deposits. If I can ask, which do you prefer or use? Thank in advance!
@@31keivon Since I have a Paypal account I only use Paypal for payment. Even people that don't have Paypal can still pay with a credit card. I really don't know much about the others.
@@housewashing5693 very easy on the eyes and knowledgeable. A person who has a go. And this is what’s all about. Having a go. And to share it, is another experience by itself. You go mate 🫡🇦🇺
