How to make millions with little effort AFKing on GTA 5 Online! AFK (Away From Keyboard/Controller) is a way of making money by having your businesses produce product while not actually having to play the game and IS NOT against GTA online rules. For this method I recommend owning a CEO Bunker, a few MC businesses, and PREFERABLY a nightclub (not all are necessary but you will need atleast one for it to make sense. I make $1M easily every day just from my nightclub sales. if you don't know what a NAT type lobby is check out my other video on how to get a public lobby to yourself, that way you can sell your businesses and invite friends and do everything you want without dealing with greifers. This is the best video to show how to go AFK. But you don't need to plug the controller into the console or have the character walk in a circle. The two most important things are to uncheck the box that says "Show me things when idle" and change your setting to "Never shut off automatically " these two things make the AFK work perfectly. Thanks man. You are the only only to show those two options in one video. Took me forever to find out about them.

The controller will shut off after about 10 minutes but it doesn't matter. The other two settings keep everything going perfectly. And having your character watch the Security Cameras at the Nightclub.

@@landonsmith4242 wtf???? That makes no sense. Those are all the settings required to make it work. There are no in game settings needed to adjust either. Mine works fine and plenty of other people use the same method🤷 I'll try to do some research and post tips in these comments for ya❤️

I’m trying to do the new car meet rep afk thing but my controller keeps saying it’s disconnected. I have the elite controller and I leave it on the little charger base thing.

Take the battery pack out and plug it into your Xbox and it should stay on from what I’ve seen

@@LuvFrosty the elite 2 has a built in battery so you can't remove it so I don't think you can't be afk with it

Yes, it used to atleast. I doubt it's been patched. You can also go in your apartment and watch tv. Just make sure you have your controller plugged in with no batteries in it or the controller will always turn off after like 10 mins then you'll go idle and get kicked.

Yeah as long as it fits. Most phone cables allow data transfer. Best way to check is to see if your controller turns off after 15 mins of no activity

Using the Xbox series S controller and after like 15 minutes it automatically turns itself off even when it’s plugged in with a USB-C cable and no batteries in it. It only does it when I set it up for afking too

Hmmmm. I only had my series s for a day before I sold it, I always did it on my One S... Did you go into Xbox settings and make sure it's set to never turn off the controller?

What I do is remove the batterys connect the controller to the xbox and have your headphones plugged in then play a song on Spotify on loop it stops the controller from turning off.

I have a ps4 and i did this with rubber bands but the problem is it damages the controller over time. I broke my controller and now it has stick drift so I can't use it anymore.

Honestly that's untrue. Just not how springs (WHICH ARE WHAT RE-CENTER YOUR JOYSTICK) work scientifically. Springs don't get worn out from being compressed. They get worn out from repeated compression and decompression. You can look that up yourself . It's 100% science. People do this all the time with zero issue. I've been doing it almost constantly the past year with no stick drift. Your controller was faulty or already wore out from use.

Make sure you don't have a battery pack in it. Only a cable connected. If that doesn't work, it's most likely the cable your using, it can't be a charge only cable, it has to allow data trasfer.

@@lrichez1496 yeah just try various cables you have around the house. Maybe an old phone cable? If you need to buy one just ask for a USB micro cable that supports data transfer.

You make sure to take the batteries out before you plug it in? If so and it's still doing it try another cable, most likely the one your using is only for charging and doesn't have data transfer capabilities

Try different charging chords. Some only allow data transfer and not charging. If it can't charge and transfer data it will always turn itself off

Do you have the battery still in it? If so it will always shut off. Has to be getting power from only a cable

Try Taking the batteries out of your controller and just get power from the cable. Alot of times it will still draw power from the batteries even though it's plugged in.

Honestly could be many different things causing that. Did you make sure you don't have batteries in your controller? If you do it won't work. Has to be getting direct power from just the cable. Also try using a different cable, some cables just won't work. Make sure your joysticks are fully pulled in towards eachother, and make sure you actually followed the steps in this video. Worked for 90 percent of people in the comments, you very well could be just missing 1 step.

Either the cable you're using isn't meant to be used with controllers, you're not connecting your controller with a cable, you still have batteries/battery pack in your controller, or you didn't follow every step in the video. Only explanation. Works for plenty of other people. Hope you get it figured out man.
