Thank you! My ink comes tomorrow. I’m excited about adding this to my services. Timing purposes, this will step up my game 🖤 How do you feel about “thinning” out the water-based paint before using it on the machine? Or do you feel it not necessary because of the cleaning?

hey, i'm excited for you!!:) since i use a strong compressor (1/5 hp), i do not need to thin the createx brand paints which are a little thicker than some other brands. thinning the paints will make it harder to get the colors on good and dark or bright. kind of like those nail polishes that take 10 coats to come up to the true color. and thinning the paint can also cause them to crack or smear when topcoated, i just use the paints straight out the bottle.

Did you buy the hose with this? I forgot to pick the hose option. So do you know what size adapters I should get for my hose? I have a Sparmax compressor.

Hey, yes I got the hose with my airbrush. I thought the hook up to the compressor was universal but I’m not sure. Try Midwest Airbrush Supply or USA Airbrush Supply, they’re pretty helpful with that kind of stuff. 😊
