Thanks! I grew up with a King Flugabone, which has a notch on each valve that only allows for the correct orientation... then decided to pick up the trumpet last year, found a used Bach, and was mystified that there seemed to be no reliable way to lock-in the correct orientation... but apparently there is! Looking forward to trying this.
Thanks for the video. All the valves in a trumpet look alike, so what difference would it make to place, for example, #1 in the #3 casing and vice versa?

Is this how you normally speak? This topic is supposed to be how to do a valve alignment aka Bob Reeves etc. I click it and it's beginner stuff on how to put your valves in. Dumb
