Thanks for the tutorial. I tried to set up the tracks as you have them. Q Capture on an AUX track mono since capture is only available on mono or multi mono. The stere audio track where you have the other eq plugins that you want to analyze. But I see the audio track is stereo and when I try to bring a eq that was open on a stereo track to the mono Aux track where Q Capture is, it will not allow me to do so , it gives me an error " plugin cannot be moved there because plugins number of input channels does not match". So how are you able to do that ? I am working in Pro Tools 10.3.10

Okay I need serious help. I keep trying to do this with my software plug ins so I know what each component is doing but every time I click 'Capture' mode, an EQ curve appears and builds until its a jumbled mess of squiggly lines and I have to bypass it to knock it off! What the actual hell man!? I checked and double checked my routing. NO plugins other than Q Clone and Q Capture... I can't think of any possible reason why this should be happening.

For those who are having trouble with this, the problem is that some DAW's wont let you create a loop like that (set the output as the input) so it might not be possible in your DAW

That's interesting what kind of analyzer is used. Is it FFT one? Then what FFT-size is used? In other words, how precise is the frequency response?

I can not find Q-capture on waves, does anyone know if the plugin is still available? thanks
