Hello can someone please answer this question for me I'm just learning how to water chemistry for my swimming pool and these vids on RU-vid some of these people are not explaining correctly so I use a photometer pool lab1.0 with a tablet so I'm accurate dpd1 I get my Free chlorine # then I add dpd3 to the tester and I get my Total chlorine # and for the most time my Free chlorine # is always greater than the Total chlorine # so doesn't this mean that I do not have any COMBINED CHLORINE/ CHLORAMINES to Shock from the pool please help with an answer thanks Chris

Hi Chris, I would suggest contacting the manufacturer of your photometer for guidance on its operation. They will be able to provide specific information for the equipment being used and interpretation of measurement values. Hope that helps!
