You can always tell when people are new to jetskis, they always go out and but the worst designed anchor possible. Ask any experienced jetski owner and they will all tell you they own a copper anchor and never look back
the tension IS in the front, Harry was just showing the technique , and formed the loop in the anchor line too close to the clip on the jet ski. depth of water determines how much rope you need to let out. in shallow water the loop will be closer to the anchor and most of the rope will remain onboard.
