1) Find someone talented who can make an animation. 2) Download said animation 3) Thank them for taking the time to make an animation 😅 You all are magic. I don’t have the patience for this.
… quick, simple and to the point! I’m actually shocked and delighted, thank you for not wasting our time with pointless drivel and just telling us there and then 👍
💖Thank you very much for your help, it really took me to understand it, I even had to slow down the video.😁 Thanks again for your effort and this great video 😍
hii, thank you so much for this:) I was wondering if you knew how to "link" the animation to an object (let's say you want your sim to do the animation you created after interacting with a specific object only)
Hi Mathlide! My pleasure :) That is on my list!! As soon as I finish this current set I'm uploading (how to make super broadcaster interaction) That one will appear shortly after! (might not be exact one but you know what i mean!) x
This is a fantastic guide, however i found it a tad quick. Spending an extra minute or 2 to allow people to absorb the information wouldn't be a bad away to go if that is possible
Yes that’s right! Otherwise the game won’t be able to read the file as it’s not where it should be! If you just need to play back the animation do that in blender while you work :D
Hi I really like your Sims 4 tutorial, I'm looking for how to make sims 4 map replacements but it really hard to find one, can you make vid about this (if you interest to) I wanna make my own one 🥺🥺
Hi Greentea! After you've made your animation, save the blender file go back to sims 4 studio (if you've not already) select clip pack > animation in clips tab press import 0:55 import your blender file. Done! x
Okay, I figured it out and came back for you my friend. Once you're in Blender(Version 2.70a) either push 1 on your number pad (the numbers to the left or right of your keyboard, not the top, it took me awhile to figure that out) or, if that doesn't work, there is a panel underneath your person rig that has a variety of options. Look for VIEW, it will bring up an options menu and down near the bottom of it is a variety of CAMERA options. "Flatten" is just a term for FRONT VIEW. It will turn the model to face you flat on, seeing only their front. Don't worry if you don't get it at first I spent two hours googling "flatten blender, blender flatten, face front in blender, help to flat blender, why is blender so hard, am i stupid, help blender, im going to cry rn, therapy for blender, can i have cheaper therapy" and then another three hours pressing different buttons in blender until I found it and facepalmed so hard.
@@Be.kodesh7 There aren't more tricks on how to animate. HOWEVER learning to animate in general will help there! I recommend learning how to animate basic things in Blender first! The knowledge will be transferable: (Eventually I'll make some videos on animating but that maybe something for my skillshare videos as it's slightly longer!) ru-vid.com?search_query=how+to+animate+in+blender+basics and if you want to become an animator properly check out this master :D ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nbtbbdA4kUM.html&ab_channel=Abdulkrbin How to animate with Objects is definitely something I can add, I'll add it to the list :D x
Hi there! I've just done the Deco Items (already on patreon) Will release on the 12th of April x As for functional as both are technically done in the same space. What item are you trying to make functional and what do you want it todo?
Hi crono! YES so at the bottom of your screen (where it says edit mode/object mode) there's a circle on it's right you maybe on solid if it says you're on texture, it just means it couldn't find the texture that's assigned to it!
hiii! ik this is old but, is there a way to make an animation that includes more than one sim? how do you import it, and how do you choose the other sims in game?
hmmm i think sacrificial would know! sims4studio.com/thread/6762/custom-sim-interaction-animation-used Based on this at least! It's on my list but not sure how long that would be xx
Hi min! Blender, make sure you click the rig (on the far right) if you're in object mode , or edit mode, select pose mode then right mouse click the leg x If you have any other problems you may need to take a mini blender for beginners course to get your feel for it first then come back! (It always catches me out D:)
Hi Trending! (I think you missed a step) I will mirror what dutch said x 1. move time line to start, locrot entire rig 2. animate (turn on auto keyframe otherwise do it for every movement manually) 3. be sure to loc rot the last frame if you haven't already x
Hi GenesisDraws, Yes you will need to as Loc Rot = Rotation If you need them to rotate during the dance You'll have to rotate the the main Bone that controls the direction the sim is facing in.
hi queen! This means where you've installed sims 4 is not the same place where you've installed blender, then need to be in the same drive x (if you need more help there are videos that show how to install them!) x
Hi eye! I've neevr tried as the old ones work, so you'll be in uncharted territory for a bit! However as soon as you try it, if it doesn't work you'll be able to redownload the older one (you can use the new one do your thing, then just open it in the old one so s4s accepts it!)
Hi Hetty! Click and drag on the time line to a position you want, then hit the keyframe button! But if all else fails I suggest you look into beginner tutorials on animating in blender x
by making sure your package, is inside your mods folder! Then by turning on your game, and clicking your interaction or using andrews pose player if that's how you're intedning to use it! andrews pose player here: sims4studio.com/thread/2617/andrews-studio
@@Simliciouss1 OH my goodness sorry I thought I already replied to this xx Yes sure thing! Is there a particular thing you wanted to make in the new blender? OTHERWISE Later on I plan to do a pipeline series for people to get to know blender etc and I'll do it with Blender 4.9!
@@PixifiedTips haha no it's okay! I really just wanted to learn the basics, i see some tutorials on YT but they are all made with the older version of blender and I feel as if the newer version is more user friendly (for me) so that is why i asked.
@@Simliciouss1 ah ok ! :D Well thank you for giving the idea to do the tut on the newer version of blender :D !! It will cover the basics, how to make a thing, rig it, colour it and then some! So when it comes out I hope it will help
@@PixifiedTips Por otra parte. Bajé un modelo similar. Pero me da a elegir entre 4 modelos masculinos y 4 femeninos, la verdad no sé cual es el que sirve.
Hi Kaylee! with these videos, if they're a bit too quick, I suggest watching 1 step. pausing the video then doing that step watching the next step pausing it and doing the next step These videos are not designed to be watched and done at the same time!
Hi Courant! These videos are designed to have the user watch 1 step, pause and repeat! (with the slow down function youtube provides if needed) However these are older videos that are due to be remade with the current style of the channels format later on.
Oh so would you rather “so you do this… and so basically you do this” (that being the same thing twice) like everyone else appears to do, they just repeat themselves and drag everything out!
Hi Himanie! I suggest you look up how to move and select rigs /bones in blender on a mac first then come back! I've looked for a vid for you but that's your best bet :D ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YcvOx65ciTc.html&ab_channel=DannyMac3D I don't use Macs for work anymore
