@Gachaworks-np3ic first up you don't even need an apple pen or an iPad you can just buy and graphic tablet for under a hundred dollars that connects to your laptop and you can use that at first also just learn more about it and try to get more confident about animation so that you can actually feel confident about it and another important thing that helped me a lot with animation is just getting started that's really important go on I believe in you

@@Slashertoons When I saw this comment after trying out animating lightning realizing this wasn’t for beginners and this was my 6th animation ever my brain fried beacause I thought mine looked good. And then I didn’t understand if I was good at animating or not. Congrats! You read a pointless comment.
Instead of using pen tool and redrawing corners, you can use the ink brush and draw faster and slower for the same effect, it just makes it less time consuming
Here in short how to make it , use white color pen and go to layer , and turn on beta , scroll down you'll see there you can pick any color that glow in that layer , lightning is just random and no animation you can skip any frames of it.

Rakuto can you tell me how you animate poses I mean do you always watch every tutorial for every pose and move? or there's an alternative way to not use tutorials but get the poses and moves in mind

(day 1 for asking) Dear, RakutosAnimation i would like to animate my oc to fight someone else but i have no experience with drawing and animating things and when i look at vids to teach me it doesn't really give me anything besides just practice and when i do try all the stuff they tell me to do the animation that i made looks so so so so bad and would like you to make a vid where you teach us all the in between on how to animate, then in another vid do a full teaching of making stickmen animations to help me and probably way more people than just me. tysm.
0:48 i HIGHLY recommend u watch a different video focusing on spacing cuz if u learn it u can do this type of animation very easily as shown in this vid
Its an onion skin it shows the previous frame you can color it than you can adjust the setting to show the fron and back frame, note: it's not free The app is free you'll need it's premium to use it but it's not necessary to get the premium you can make good animations without it too

Just make spontaneous shapes they should be Ridgid and not straight and they are easily done in short bursts doing fluid lighting movements can be tricky but try i guess, that's animation guys just try.😅
