it's not the correct way to proceed for texturing and baking ao for a rims or object that rotate on is axle , is a fast way but after you have problems with blurred rims, and anyway you have a non uniform dark area.this is a good workflow but not for top results
Sup bro, Do you have a video on how to fix the transparency of the bumper from the inside? I'm a complete noob at 3d with very little experience. I want to fix some points in the car model, one of the problems is the transparent bumper. when you look at it from the outside, everything is OK, but from the inside it is completely transparent. I understand that i need some kind of internal material ? REAL NUUUBIE)
With 3d, every polygon has a normal face and the back face. The back face will always be transparent which is what you are seeing. One solution is to copy the object and then flip the normals and then offset it behind the main object so that the when you look from behind it you are looking at the second object with the normals facing inwards
When creating the car sound, we included the nitrous purge sound in the bank file to activate with the horn. Then we created an animation of the smoke purging using a alpha tested texture. Then we just set that animation to activate when the horn is pressed.
If you don’t see it on the right side, you can also look at the top nav bar where it says modifiers and go to uv coordinates tab I think it was. And In the drop down it should have the uvw map modifier there too
