Note: We went above and beyond in this video to guide not just application, but also the pro-tips and how to avoid potential failures. While it may seem like there are a lot of steps here, the principle is simple: 1. Clean your screen. 2. Plug in your Stabilizer. 3. Remove any dust. 4. Peel off the protective backing. 5. Line it up around the cutout. 6. Remove the yellow layer & unplug the Stabilizer. 7. Squeegee out any bubbles. 8. Use the alcohol wipe around the edges to get perfect adhesion. We did a lot of focus group testing to see whether the application tutorial video would be better served as a traditional step-by-step, or whether applicants found better results with super detailed "do this, don't do that, here's what to do if you find this" instructions. Obviously, the latter yielded better results. With all that said, we understand that humans are still prone to failure. To remedy this, we included a second unit free of charge with each order. Our recommendation is to just turn off your free will for the next 8 minutes and follow the instructions. The Prism is designed to line everything up for you perfectly - the only piece you have full control over is making sure there's no dust on your screen before laying it down.
I haven't decided which replacement phone to buy yet but once I do I'm sold on this. The humor was a great add, and consistent with dbrand, but that aside, this was an extremely well made video and very detailed. You folks really thought of everything
Actually, in most installations they're used to get the extra gunk and sticky stuff off of your phone. I'm pretty sure dbrand just had issues with the edges and made it formulated to stick down when alcohol is added.
I learned a lot from this tutorial especially the alcohol wipe technique. This video was also very engaging as 7 mins felt like just a few seconds. Orator was also amazing.😀😍🥳 Prism + Grip would be THE perfect complement for iPhone xs Max. This is the highest quality screen protector i have ever came across and thats one one the reason I watched the whole video with absolute attention. Thanks Robots.
Well, to be fair, a lot of people fucked up screen protectors installations since none of them came with step by step instructions. So although probably not essential, it's still appreciated.
@@JakobHunterek Well right now no Samsung phones have a Prism screen protector made, but dbrand said the difficult part is getting it around the edges, not getting the fingerprint sensor working.
@@darthdarthbinkss It most likely will, though from what I heard, the S10e has 2.5d glass, so there is a slight curve even though it doesn't have the 'edge' screen. So it kinda depends if they want Prism going beyond the screen or not.
dbrand this is phenomenal! You guys are setting new industry standards. Btw is it possible to make prism protectors for curved displays such as for the samsung s8 to s10 series? would love to see some for those!
I don’t even own the product, but nonetheless I was happily entertained by watching this installation video. It gave me an incentive to get the product though.
dbrand robot said: "Hey. Let's make a meat puppet shoot 30min of footage so we can make an 8min training video for a 10sec installation. It'll be great."
So thats what the challenge we want dbrand should go ahead with.. Many of the companies making screen protector for flat screen phones and that too lot cheeper than this.
That's all of Dbrand's videos, kinda like You Suck At Cooking (great channel, check it out) entertaining videos with funny dialogue, but still legitimate cooking tutorials.
@@matyasd007 unless it's certified like whitedome, the reason why I asked if it's certified to work with Samsung's ultrasonic fingerprint. But as Stian pointed out, it doesn't look like the prism is made for curved screens.
I don’t have any of dbrand products but I’m just watching this because the woman’s voice is soothing and waiting for her to say “in case you f*ck it up on your first try”
