This is a step by step procedure to apply birth certificate in Saudi Arabia. The process is common for all the residents and locals across the kingdom, for non-arabic residents, this video could be useful.

Mandatory Documents:
1. Printout of the appointment form
2. Birth notification document from the hospital
3. Original and copy of Iqama/Residence permit of parents
4. Original and copy of Passports of parents
5. Filled-in application form (you will get the form in civil affairs office, if you do not know arabic, you can request someone in the civil affairs office to help).
Note: Cross check the baby's name, parents' names before leaving the office. I had seen that the staff in the civil affairs office are kind enough to support with english/arabic names spell check, etc.
