HOW TO APPLY FALSE LASHES! (for Beginner!) 🔥 

I wasn't convinced when Jenna Lyons said to apply eyelash glue to one's eyelid.....but when Johnny says to do so: "ALL HAIL NEWS FROM THE BEAUTY ORACLE!!!!"

Please do more of these tutorials, I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to makeup

Been doing this for years.. my friends would laugh but I told them im not having the edge sticking into my tear duct as I had to pull them so far over so they weren’t on my damn face, so I’d trim them down with my nail scissors and I would bend the band to try to shape it more to my eye shape as the glue got tacky.. they fit better and look more natural

I love ya, Johnny, but I’m pretty sure even with your amazing lash tips that my results will be the same: one lash falling like an autumn leaf to be stuck to one of my toes and the other lash somehow ending up in a glob that looks like a squashed spider. #epiclashfailure 🤣🤣🤣

I've recently started using half lashes, or about 3/4 lashes and it has really upped my makeup game in terms of time and efficiency. Gonna try putting the glue on my eye later on lol

You rock! I had cancer a couple years ago and I didn't know anything about anything beauty related. Probably about the level of a 2year old. I have learned sooo much from you. Your approachable and it feels like I'm getting a lesson from a more experienced friend.

What helped me to learn how to apply false lashes was using an eyeliner that had glue in it from spoiled lips cosmetics. That gave me the confidence to try using glue this way as I was always a bit nervous of doing it wrong. This method does work. Just be careful and dont put too much glue on the brush. As it can drop into your eye. My lashes last all day without any lift, and I wear glasses. I use duo eye glue. You can get one with a brush like this one in the vdeo 💜🌛🌕🌜💜

Why have i never thought of putting the glue directly on my lid?! Thats genious. I do however, love the magnetic lashes with magnetic liner, you use it just like liquid liner and then the lashes stick to it! 💖

Literally a week ago I found the miracle of trimming down my falsies and they were SO much easier to use! Though I did make the mistake of trimming from the inner corner but then I just swapped them to the opposite eyes and it worked just fine

I have always had the corner lift up but now after putting it halfway it’s actually so much better and more easier to apply

Something I found to be super helpful when fitting lashes to my lash line.. My top and bottom lashlines are basically the same length so I lay them on top first and see about where I'd need to cut it then hold them up to my bottom lash line with my fingers and use tweezers to grab them right where I need to cut them. This helps me not guesstimate where to cut them because I tend to cut less rather than more. It keeps me from having to go back and trim more and keeps them from poking my eye when I don't. I know this is odd and not how you're supposed to do it but it helps me when I actually decide to wear lashes.

I watch this with fascination. I haven't considered a false eyelash. I've had eye surgery and I'm extra careful these days. That being said, the magic here was everyones doing a half lash. Heck, I like how mascara can be built up on the outside ends for that look. Thanks :)

Why I’m always losing eyelashes when I take my strip off a few of my lashes always comes off🤦🏽‍♀️

You’re magic or something because yesterday I was struggling HARD with my lashes yesterday. My saving grace ✨✨

1. First, apply the mascara to the top lashes in a zigzag motion. Start at the base of your lashes and move your brush outward. 2. Once you have applied mascara to the top lashes, use the same technique to apply it to the bottom lashes. 3. To create volume, apply a generous amount of mascara to your upper lashes. Then, use a clean mascara wand to brush the lashes in an upward motion. 4. For extra volume, apply a layer of mascara and then use a curling iron to curl the lashes upward. Be sure to use an eye-safe curling iron, as some are too hot for eyelashes. 5. To create a dramatic look, use a waterproof mascara and apply it to both top and bottom lashes. Then, use an eyelash curler to curl the lashes and add a layer of mascara on

Ok I need help!! First and let me say that eyelashes should be applied above and not under your natural lashes. I have tried to put on fake eyelashes for the past hour. I am so ticked off right now. Should I put mascara on my natural lashes and then apply fake ones I need so much help!!!

Lol, I’m 66 and only ever worn false eyelashes ONCE. it was for a wedding, I was a bridesmaid, and we had to ride on a motorbike to the venue. I had sunglasses on under the visor! We got there and one lash had started lifting😮. Couldn’t see a bloody thing! Trying to find eyelash glue, get it back in place, all in 5 mins😱 I can laugh about it now.

If you apply the glue on the lash, wait but not too long, I like to readjust while it's still a little wet. Hover and see where it fits best, touch the middle of your eye, then the outer corner, then the inner corner, by the time u get to the inner eye it will be almost fully dry

To help maintain the curve of the lashes, when you remove them, you can curl them around a "fat" marker, and held in place by a thin rubber band.

@JohnnyRoss I wish you were around when I was growing up. My mom knew nothing about being a girl mom. She didn't wear makeup, didn't know how to dress stylish, didn't know anything about hair. She didn't try to find out for me either. I was to embarrassed to ask but when I got a newspaper job at 12 yrs old I started buying clothes, makeup and jewelry I like or had seen other girls wearing.
