Good tips Sean especially the calling in for help! Colorado is confusing and I've hunted there for several years, we always chose San Juan National and 3rd Rifle season. That said, I do also understand you can still get some over the counter tags in certain areas as well. Just don't know if I'll bother again this year my two old hunting buddies are no longer friends! Yup that's an option if you want more hunting pressure to contend with.

Every unit has pressure, I’ve hunted Colorado every year for elk, draw or otc you’re gonna run into pressure.
