My pleasure. No, once it is verified, you are done. For step 2, you just need to pay the exam fee. No further verification, particularly if you are graduate.

As soon as status verification is done , does your online application part automatically completes or they ask you to complete it , ?! There is a delay in me applying for my medical diploma but I want to pay the fee as soon as possible ....but application should reach US office in 4weeks ...can someone help me out here?
Once you are done with the status verification, you need to apply for the Steps exam and pay the fees and further verification depending on your status.
So, I was wondering: I'm planning to do step 1 next year, by February/march, or maybe by the end of 2023. My form 186 has been approved. Should I pay for my q banks and other studying materials by February and start studying, and by the middle of the year i apply for the eligibility period? I appreciate your comment. Well, it should be the first day of your academic session, it does not matter whether you did attend the classes or not. Not the entrance exam date. I would encourage you to talk with your school officials for more confirmation. Hope it helps.

I did the form 186 and received E.mail that it was accepted and that I can apply for the exams , My question is that after 2024 ,if my medical school is not eligible (accredited) any more for ecfmg criteria, can I do the application for the examination after 2024 (as I finished the form 168 already) , or I have to do the application for the exam before 2024 ? In other words , are the new regulations of 2024 (regarding the medical schools accreditation) will affect the graduated doctors who finished the form 168 or not , so if there medical schools didn't achieved the ecfmg criteria of 2024 can they apply for the examination after 2024 as they have already form 168 accepted ? I appreciate your comment. I was kind of the same situation as you. From what I remember, the application process for the CK was quite easy compared to step 1, mostly paying the fees. I can't remember 100% though.

When you save an application and logged out, ECFMG must give you a ref no to continue with the same application. You need to write it down. Otherwise you need to start a fresh application.

Hello, I appreciate your comment. So, during the application, it will show the next 6 months as your eligibility period, you have to choose 3 months from that. For example, if you apply now, it will show you Jan -June or Feb-July. If your verification process goes fast and the Prometric center has a spot, it is possible.

I suggest applying for one exam at a time. This is because, if there is any change in your plan and in life, you may not appear the second one So why would you waste money here? The second point is, that apply for the first exam is time-consuming, not the rest of the exams, because all your documents will be ready.

There will be an option where you can inform ECFMG during the application. However, I am not aware of the consequences. I would suggest apply and seek advise from ECFMG.

Hi, as your medical school is in WDOMS, I strongly believe, you will be able to take USMLE exams. If you cannot, then you have to contact ECFMG for next process.

Hi, I did the notarization of form 186 with the correspondent on notarycam. On my notarycam dashboard it shows the completed and notarized form. Am i supposed to wait for a confirmation email from ecfmg or can I proceed on the ecfmg iwa website? Because when I sign in to my ecfmg iwa ot doesnt gove me option to sign up for the usmle exam, it still shows (click here to dowload you're form 186).
