Your video is very helpful for first timers who don't want to use an agent. But a few queries. It says that you can upload documents online and you can submit documents on the date of appointment. So, is there a choice. If I don't upload documents and take them along with me on the date of appointment, is it ok? Also, can I click pictures of my documents and upload online or I will need to make a file?

Hey, there is no fixed minimum amount to maintain in your bank account. Try to maintain 100 pounds per day as London is expensive place. So, if you are planning to visit for 10 days, It should be 1000 pounds(1 lakh) for each person.

Hey, I think you all have to apply as individuals. However, while applying you can check whether there is any option for as group application(I saw this option in the Schengen visa but am not very sure about the UK tourist Visa).

@@ranjana240 yes, you have to pay extra, the closest information I found is : www.gov.uk/faster-decision-visa-settlement If you want to know more, create a dummy uk visa application and book VFS appointment. You will see the payment option at the very end and that time select priority visa option. All the fees will be shown there. I hope this will help you. [suggestion - don’t opt for priority visa unless it is too urgent because generally visa decision comes under 15 days, however, priority visa will cost you huge]

@@aloksight as per my knowledge you won’t have this option. You have to prepare a separate set of documents for your wife as well. Btw for UK visit visa, they doesn’t ask for much documents, you can easily provide all even if she is non working. You just have to maintain some amount into her bank account. Uk visit visa sponsor means(4th point under the sponsors guidelines) : the person supporting you is legally in the UK. You can also check the uk government site, and please check if there is anything else you can do : www.gov.uk/government/publications/visitor-visa-guide-to-supporting-documents/guide-to-supporting-documents-visiting-the-uk#if-you-have-a-sponsor If you find anything extra while applying your visa please don’t forget to mention here as well.

@@aloksight hey, today I was checking documents requirement for Schengen visa. And I saw the same situation of yours. So, Schengen visa rule says in case of “you are sponsored by your spouse” - in that case marriage certificate and bank statement of your spouse is required. I found this information in my application form after submitting it. I would suggest you to fill a dummy uk tourist visa form, after submitting the application form, there will be one section for required documents, you can check there. And based on those requirements you can decide which route you should choose- I mean either sponsor her or prepare a separate documents.
