How to Apply Glow in the Dark Tape Guide:
Step1 ) Using a brush, sweep the application area
Sweep any debris away from the floor to ensure a clean area to apply Heskins tape.
Step 2) Clean and prepare the application surface
Firstly, make sure the surface to be applied to is free from grit by cleaning the surface with H3508 Surface Cleaner, which Heskins can provide at a low cost.
Step 3) Measure and apply the photoluminescent tape
Once the surface is completely dry, you can apply your glow-in-the-dark photoluminescent tape. Measure out the correct length of tape you require for the application area.
Step 4) Cut the tape to length
Cut Heskins tape with scissors, then proceed to fit it to the surface.
Step 5) Remove the tape's backing Liner
Peel back a section of the backing tape and apply the glow-in-the-dark tape to the surface removing the backing tape as you go along until all the tape is neatly applied.
Step 6) Apply tape using a seam roller
Run your fingers over the tape with firm, even pressure ensuring the tape is applied with no risk of edge lift. For a better application, use a Heskins seam roller.
Step 7) Use Edge Fix
Applying a small amount of edge fix to the edges of the tape further prevents the risk f edge lift.
