Betsy! I know you did this You Tube video 3 years ago, but I come back to it time and time again because you are quick and to the point, you give clear directions, and while you weed your vinyl you are teaching the entire time! Thank you ! I have told many crafting friends about you and your teaching videos.
I’ve been crafting for many years and I’ve never thought to crease the vinyl sheet for centering. GENIUS! I haven’t bought a Teflon pillow yet, what I have been doing is just folding some Teflon sheets making them thicker like the pillow, and I’ve put HTV on just about everything doing that, including thermal bags!
My husband sat down with me to see your video. He gets a kick of your saying "So". So he has dubbed you the Lady Bessie, So! We both like watching your videos. I think it's sweet he is so involve with my business, that he will watch the videos with me. I've learned so much from you. Thank you.
Superb content and very informative. It’s people like you who put a great effort into not only showing, but explaining your processes and help people like me progress. Reading the comments on here I think some people type things in the actual thought that they are helping but sometimes it may read as over critical, I’m sure that all intentions were good - the actual fact of them watching the whole tutorial is proof that you definitely kept up some interest. Further more, your camera work is great quality, your audio was extremely clear too and of course you were true to the products you were making. That to me is more than anyone could ask for, and I’m looking forward to watching more videos as I both liked and subscribed. So that being said, thank you and your team for some first class content. MDD
I can’t believe you can learn free here on RU-vid ( and not pay for class at Joanns etc) on your house chair and the people argument about they don’t like you said SO. Good video thanks 😊😊
I am so glad I found your channel. Your set up is amazing. I have never seen a mug press before...had no idea it even existed...and your t-shirt press is so cool!! quite the operation you have. I love it. Thanks for sharing. Donna
Love your videos. Can I give you a small suggestion...If and when your heat press is on you can lay your vinyl on platen. It warms it up a little and it weeds very easy...Save loads of money unless you want to invest in a weed table which serve the same purpose
I love your tutorials! I watch all of them that I can see. My husband gave me a Cricut Maker for Christmas and just got me a heat press for an early birthday present. Now when he misses me he knows I am in my crafting room. I am having a hard time with SVG files and getting them uploaded.
Thank you so much for sharing all the great information. I have to do a mug for my DIL so she can give it as a gift. I only have lavender and gray in iron on. I didn't want to spend $$ on regular vinyl if I didn't have to! Also using a $1 Tree mug!
Wow. What a wealth of information. I am new to the vinyl world and I have been looking through RU-vid for tutorials about it. You are by far the best on the internet. Seriously. You have a knack for explaining things and I am very appreciative that you spend all this time helping others. You are my go to vinyl expert. Just curious what type/brand of vinyl do you use? Also, I noticed in one of the shots your son was playing on the floor. You would never even know he was home. He was so well behaved!! Please keep up the GREAT work. I eagerly look forward to another one of your videos. I’m hooked.
You know you’re from the south when you don’t even realize she says “SO” a lot. Lol. On another note - you’re amazing at explaining things. Thank you so much! I’ve subscribed :)
I noticed from the video it was an Air Fusion, and I saw it on Amazon for $4000! There are other heat press machines in the $200 range, but have no idea of the quality. Figured I answer since you didn’t get a response.
Could you show how to apply the htv on mugs and tumblers with a regular iron cause I can't find one on youtube anywhere and me and some friends dont have a mug press
Thank you for this video. I've been browsing ( 50+ ) Several videos on mugs and heat press, this one is great. Hate all the others that push Their expensive products. On another note, it's not very often I Sub on videos, unless I feel it's a big plus for me. You a Big Plus ! 😎
I know the T-shirt guide comes in several sizes. What size is the T-shirt guide that you use? It’s such a great guide for beginners like myself. Thank you for your lessons. They are so helpful.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge ❤️ but can you please tell me what kind of mug do you used ? I trying and I can't get done because de vinil it's peel of thank you so much
Sooo I love your tutorials, thank you 😉! I got a question can the stretch vinyl your using work for ribbed tank tops? I’m wondering if screen print would be better for ribbed tanks or if a specific htv will work?! Your response is greatly appreciated 😊
I just stumbled across your videos and they are SOOO helpful!! Thank you very much!! You are adorable! Do you realize just how much you say SO? LOL. Its cute!!!
Thank you for the video @CuttinCornersVinyl. Nicely done. Recognizing this is an OLD video, do you still use the same mug press? Which brand is it and how did it hold up? Thanx again, Jerri
Hi there. I am planning to get my first ever Cricut machine but I am not sure if I should get the Maker instead of Explore. Regardless of price, can you please share your ideas and thoughts on this? Thank you so much in advance!
I wanted to know what heat press you are using for the mugs and the shirts. Also, do you have a hat press as well? Thanks so much. Very informative video.
hello, I was wondering if The mug with a HTV desing can also be used on The micriwave, thanks a lot for all your tutorials And The information you can provide about The microwave And HTV
Hello Nilaja for Camden here Wow I love your videos I am learning so much I would like to do somebody things that you are showing us I truly thank you much
Hi, Betsy! Thanks so much for your tutorial. Your tips are very helpful. I just got a Cricut for my birthday a few days ago and I would like to buy a heat press. I have seen a few options around the $200 on Amazon that include a mug, plate, and cap press. I would love your opinion on this if you don't mind. Thanks!
Hi, love your videos. Would it make any difference if you didn't open out your t-shirt to to put it around the base of the heat press. I am just starting out and I can't put the shirt on like you do so I have to have the whole shirt on top of the press. Thank you for your inspiration Norma from UK
If this is a "rookie" questions, please overlook... Would you use the stretch vinyl on the koozie since it is stretched out when you insert a can/bottle? Or, is the regular HTV okay? Thank you so much for sharing with everyone! :-)
Thank you for all your help. Im just learning how to do these things. Where do I find the Monogram fonts? Have some difficulty find things I would like. Thanks in advance.
Hi and thank you for your tutorial. I attempted to apply htv to a ceramic mug using a heat mug press and when it was finished, there was (what appeared to be) a thin plastic film, covering the letters. When I tried to pull the film up, the letters came up also. Do you know if it was because there was too much heat or not enough? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
What is the difference in denatured alcohol and regular alcohol? I’m glad to know about the HTV being dishwater safe. I’m going to be ordering a heat press with the cup press and the hat press too.
I have recently been turned on to your videos on RU-vid. Nederland didn't ring a bell so I looked it up on the map and found that you were right in the path of the storm. I hop you and your family are OK.
First time I've watched your tutorials and I love how thorough you are! I do have a question for you...do you make your Teflon pillows? If so, out of what? Thank you for sharing.
Would this be the same process for a plate as well? Do you have a tutorial of doing a plate with a plate press? Just got my 5 in 1 heat press and I’m so scared to use the mug and plate press
What are you using to store your vinyl? I see the what looks like white plastic holders the vinyl is stacked in in the background of your video, where can I find some of those?
it's called a t-shirt alignment tool. I bought the 15" one and love it. will try to link for you: www.cuttincornersvinyl.com/product-p/alignment-ruler.htm
I keep trying to do the same u do, (except for the hologram) i have something else for my son, but my HTV Does not stay in the cup. I’m using the same brand u r using. Any suggestions? I appreciate your time
Karen Grove I got a Vevor 5-1 with two mug sizes from Amazon. So far, I’ve pretty much like everything I’ve used it for. However, it’s from China, and I can use the manual from the Royal brand or anything that looks like it.
Hi great video. I am new to making these coffee mugs. I want to invest in buying a mug heat press. The one I saw says Cup Coffee Mug Heat Press Machine Transfer Sublimation. Can I use a ceramic mug?
Betsy, What's a good brand starter heat press that you can recommend that has attachments? I can't afford a $5000 machine but would like a descent starter one. Thanks
