Hi there! Can you confirm when does the 30 day validity start? Should the Philippine tourist exit India before the date of expiry? Or does the 30 days start from the date of arrival in India?

Your passport should be valid for at least a year or more to secure your travel and new visa. We hope this helps and clarify your query.

Satsriakal VinCole Fam! She might consider flying from Davao to Manila personally to go to the Indian Embassy in Manila because there's no agency that can be hired to process her REGULAR TOURIST VISA which requires her personal documents and bank statements and the Indian Consulate will ask questions and verify her as well there in the Embassy so there's no use for agency. But if she can't go to the Indian Embassy in Manila, she can go for E-Visa where she can apply online and pay online with selected banks but in some states here in India, E-Visa is not convertible to Entry Visa or Spouse Visa. That's why I highly recommend you to go for a Regular Tourist Visa.

Hi po, for regular tourist visa na. 6months. Meaning po you can stay in india 6months straight or you have to re enter after 90 days then another 90 days to complete the 6months (180days) ? Thanks po

You can stay in India for 5 months and then you can extend your visa before it expires.

Yes they require photos of us together during his first visit here in the Philippines. Philippines Immigration asks for proof of relationship.

Much better to comply the documents first and verify it their in the Indian Embassy in Manila and you can't pay the fees first.

Satsriakal VinCole Fam! We appreciate you reaching out. I choose to have a Regular Tourist Visa because it's easier to convert to Spouse Visa unlike when you have an electronic visa or E-Visa. Some states in India don't allow E-Visa to be converted to Spouse Visa or X1 Visa.

Satsriakal VinCole Fam! I've applied and used a regular tourist visa and did not used e-visa upon my arrival in India. However, you can apply it online and on that website, you'll be given a PDF for the e-visa together with the instruction for the payment method and amount of your e-visa application status.

I want to get help in details , I'm from India and my gf and me both wants to marry here in India. Firstly, she isn't working right now and she doesn't have any kind of money and she has still need to make passport and get an e-phil print out for the passport process. Secondly , we are thinking of marrying under Hindu Marriage act in India in Kolkata (WB) so what will be the whole process , can you kindly guide me through . And thirdly does she need any kind of consent from her parents cause her parents are separated (not divorced) and her mom (OFW) lives in some other country. is there anyway to bypass the consent thing ? I was thinking to visit her again and bring her here as she lives alone there and hasn't travelled anywhere before . Will that be okay? Hi, Thanks for the insightful video. Just had a few doubts: a. Do we need to book the flight tickets in advance while going ahead with the VISA application? b. In the case of an e-Visa (considering that my fiance will not be able to visit the Manila embassy), will it be possible to convert it into X1 Visa? (We will be marrying in the PH, and once we reach in India, we will be submitting the copy of PSA issued Marriage Certificate in the court, and will also be marrying as per the Special Marriage Act). Satsriakal VinCole Fam! I highly suggest that you should NOT book the flight tickets in advance for the visa application is still subjected for verification and approval. E-visa are not convertible to Spouse or Entry Visa but some rare cases depending on the states there in India approves to convert it into X1 or spouse visa depending on the situation but again it's subject for verification and rare. Once you are already married here in the Philippines, you can't marry again under the Special Marriage Act in India. Special Marriage Act in India is for those Filipina who'll marry in India and will be marrying for the first time. So if you are already married here in the Philippines, you can't be married again under that act. That's why we marry on the gurudwara sahib and did the traditional sikh Punjabi wedding but not under a special marriage act since we're already married here in the Philippines. Regarding the registration of marriage from the Philippines to India, we haven't done it here in India since we already complied with the Indian Embassy in Manila BGC Taguig and that's enough and valid already to show here in India. Please watch our soon-to-be-uploaded vlog regarding this Marriage Certificate from the Indian Embassy in Manila. You need to go physically to the Indian Embassy in Manila and pay 500 pesos more for expedited processing when you have the necessary documents already and you can have it the same day.

She needs to show an active bank account with enough funds and activity there and it took almost a month for the visa.
