Dumb question: if you have a stove w a pilot light, as long as you ventilate and don't light a match, you'll be good, right? You don't have to shut the gas off...?
Seems like in this scenario that a chamfer bit in the router could be used to put a nice machine finish on the edge after all the pieces are installed (after the flush bit). Of course depth control would be critical. Thoughts?
@@TimberTea I think the reason why it looks so good is because, unlike skinny regular commercial counter tops, the thickness makes it look more like a slab of heavy granite.
