I used to do mine like the first way and it does work but honestly unless you're wearing a full face it looks way too intense, the second way is good for a more casual look

idk man everytime i apply multiple layers my lashes look clumpy and weird i separate them but it still looks weird up close

also, the ipsy mascara wand AND formula work wonders, so that could also be a factor lol

I always brush my lashes with an eyebrow "comb" after applying mascara to seperate them, and then I add more mascara to the ends

My natural eyelashes are kinda like hers and I used to wear mascara but then my lashes started falling out and my eyes looked tired after i would take the mascara off. Stopped wearing mascara. I just comb my lashes and separate them now
