How to Apply Materials to INDIVIDUAL SURFACES in Rhino 3D!

If you only want to change individual faces you can shift+ctrl press and at the same time drag the material directly on to the face.

This does not seem to work for Sub-D surfaces. The approach apparently only works for 'native NURBS.'

thanks for the video! would you know some ways to calculate the total paint area of the same material throughout the whole model if i applied the material to individual faces like in ur vid?

Thanks for the video. but we can't assign uv map to different surfaces of a single solid object. accepts a single uv. Rhino developers need to fix this ASAP. We cannot texturize the different surfaces of a single object in different dimensions. The different uv coordinates of multiple surfaces disappear when they convert these surfaces into a single solid. this is a big problem

How can i rotate the direction of a texture on one face only?

When you export the model as another file type (like obj or fbx), you lose the individual textures. Is there a way to keep the asigned textures?
