Keep in mind that this is NOT how I apply my heavier fragrances (some of you seem to think that’s the case so I decided to pin this comment, lol). This is how I apply lighter fragrances/fragrances that don’t project as much as I’d like like those shown here. Right..its perfume guys..doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out..I honestly think the sensitive heads that complain are also over spraying heavier scents..use at ur own discretion

Lol! I’ve heard people say they overspray and do 5 sprays so I knew everyone’s definition has to be different! That’s my “light” day 💀😂🤣 & yesss, I’d like to think so lol! 🤣🙌🏾😍
So crazy how our body chemistry works. I usually have to overspray too, not nearly as much as you did 😂 but my skin just eats up fragrance!! My sister in law on the other hand, can wear the same fragrance, we’ve tested it, only does like 3-4 sprays and you can smell her from across a field. It’s insane!
It is crazy! I don’t spray all of my fragrances like this though, just the ones that don’t have the best projection for me like the ones here. Otherwise, it’d be one spray in one spot (less for beast fragrances) which would still be a lot for some 🤣 but it works for me! 😍
I am such an over-sprayer too. I was on FT with someone as I was getting ready and I was just doing my routine and spraying perfume, then as I was leaving the house I sprayed again. He was like , “ wtf??? You just sprayed perfume, how much do you need? Did you forget ? “ I was cracking up like damn mind your business.
Many other fragheads: “Oh yeah, I’m an over-sprayer.” Takira “Hold my drink” 🤣🤣 But in all seriousness I’m sure you smell fantastic!!! Go on ahead and make use out of the juice!!

lol! I have a large collection so it helps me get through it! I don’t find it to be too much but my nose may be desensitized 🤣😂 & i don’t get complaints, just compliments, but I’m sure it’s usually had time to settle a bit before leaving the house lol

I’m new to frags and I’ve been obsessed since I started collecting last year. I’ve been watching tips about spraying. So basically in order for the perfume to last longer, the whole day and for a strong sillage is to OVERSPRAY. Basically bath yourself in a perfume period
I’ve got to try spraying more! My skin seems to eat fragrances. For example I’ll pick up a fragrance that most people say is a “beast” and in two hours it’s totally gone on me.
Yesssss I’m here for it 🙋🏾♀️ Over sprayer in the house I love layering and if you have a lot of body mist and perfumes it gives you chance to use them so they just won’t be sitting 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💕
Come thru for the over sprayers, I love it. I do three rounds of body sprays, no counting involved, I stop when I choke or taste it, give it a few minutes and go in again ... and last but not least, I do the out the door clothes spray.
This was an eye opener! I was embarrassed to tell my husband that I spray 24 times 😂 but now I am I inspired. I’m going to spray clothes and lower half of my body. I also need to find complementing body cream. Absolutely loves this. Thanks so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I only need 8 sprays of a fragrance on skin then 6 sprays on clothing before I’m good. There are certain fragrances you can’t do that with because it can cause you to faint
Nahhh, that was different because I literally drowned myself then to use the last of a fragrance up lol (there was more left in the bottle than I thought 💀🤣)
@@TakiraThompson right as I normally spary my body spray like a perfume. Which isn't alot. I have now gone up to spray my perfumes 6 times. I need to start targeting my clothes more
Oh also, one thing I find if I spray my forearms then wear a shirt with sleeves or if I put a light jacket or cardigan on shortly after spraying, at the end of the day when I take my jacket of I smell my fragrance strong and fresh again as if I just sprayed it. Anyone else experience this?
I’m gonna have to pay more attention to this, but that makes sense since the additional layer/coverage would be keeping your body warm! The additional body heat may have made it project more 🤔 so cool! 😍😍

I don’t have many I consider beasts though! 🤣😂 but the first heavy fragrance that comes to mind is Shaghaf Oud & I spray once on my skin in each spot with that one and not on my clothes (because I don’t like how it smells on my clothes lol). For me, that’s light but that’s some people’s definition of overspraying 🤣😂
Yea mine told me this morning while I was getting ready he said “well ya think you sprayed enough” 😂😂 and that was just the body mist ! I hadn’t even gotten to the perfume yet lol . I’ve never done 3 together though just. A body spray then the perfume
No this is Amazing! I had a friend in high school whom USETO wash her clothes. Iron them with lavender fabric softener. Spray her underwear with summer eve then apply her perfume choice of the day. She was very overrated I thought doing all that. She was acting to me “GROWN” 🤣 but I understood as I got older hygiene is important. I didnt stink I just didn’t do all that extra stuff she was doing. And this video reminded me of that. Because I see you mentioned Spraying your clothes 🥰 and this has helped me to understand LONGEVITY … THANK YOU
Over past 20 years(2001) they have watered down all perfumes...I know this bc I re bought a bunch of old faves and they ARE NOT the same...they all suck and have no longevity..and they are 3xs more In price..I started buying perfumes since lockdown to revive my spirits.and was disappointed after each bottle....even trips to the mall&sephora, u would literally spray 5-10 perfumes in 2 min and could smell nothing!!! 20yrs ago if I wouldve down that I wouldve known better not to bc I would've choked our everyone in the vicinity (including staff) they would have yelled at me to stop!! Lol. It really is a scam what the Perfume companies are doing!! I dont buy anything from the mall or designer companies bc the quality is so poor..and such a drastic difference for the worse..its watered down and way more expensive. . Just very concerning that u can spray 5-10 perfumes and smell nothing in 2 min!!! 20 yrs ago u could walk up to the Perfume counter and pay $50-$120 and any bottle from any.company like chanel,jpg,gucci, dior. Etc was stronger and worth every penny..u only needed 1-3 sprays..5 was too many...now days the same perfume is watered down..u have to spray 20xs to get 2 hours of any performance. Its straight up robbery. I tend to buy from Ebay. .where sellers are selling vintage perfumes from the year made in the year 2000-2002..I look for the label on the pics..it will have the date w/other info.. Those ones are bomb and last 4ever;) the juice is dark(which is what u want) I got a jean paul gaultier classique that was made b4 2001 also know as BPI(which stands for Before Pierre) basically it was made b4 pierre took over..so u want to look for BPI on the bottom of the bottle .bc that's proof its the strong one...(it will say 2001 BPI paris France on the bottm).which was the good strong version of classique.b4 pierre took over and watered it down....so I paid $30 bucks on Ebay and WOW I WAS SO DELIGHTED BC THATS THE CLASSIQUE I REMEMBER....THE CURRENT CLASSIQUE MADE AFTER 2001 (NOT BY PIERRE)IS WATERED DOWN and garbage like all the others. So check Ebay for perfumes made around that time:) also the stronger ones dont expire like these half ass watered down ones on the market...they actually age better as tested by my 20yr old classique I ordered on ebay a month ago!;)

I would get murdered for spraying like that where I live, where people complain if they smell a fragrance that has been sprayed one or two sprays. But I love your style of layering! You must certainly smell gorgeous. Thanks for the instructions.

I bet you don’t have sensitive skin 😃 otherwise you wouldn’t be able to do this… but I will definitely start to practice this technique 😊😊😊 I’m not going to spray as much as you do, but I will be a LOT more generous with my fragrances from now on!! DAMN I must be underspraying! As a man I only really use cologne, 3-4 sprays on my hotspots where it meets my clothing so my clothes are like a gentle diffuser. I like it strong enough to get noticed but light enough to draw them in wanting more! I like to keep things mysterious and make people feel like they 'found' something when they realize that wonderful scent is me :3.. I love how fragrances bring out all of our personalities.
I overspray body spray but cannot do it with perfume or I’ll get a headache, especially with heavy hitters. Montale Arabians Tonka gets TWO sprays ONLYYY!! Maybe even one. Lol
Takira I love fragrance too. I'm an oversprayer also. I've been layering fragrance my whole life. I normally shower, moisturize & spray my fragrance with the same scent. If I don't have the complete set I will shower, then moisturize with cream then oil and spray the fragrance. I spray my fragrance just like you plus the small part of my back. I'm with you 100% 😆

Oh wow you’re the first person I’ve seen use body spray with their perfume. I do that as well. I moisturize with Eucerin cream or lotion first, then I moisturize with bath and body works lotion, then I spray the body spray on my clothes and I put my perfume behind my ears, neck, wrist and behind my legs. Then I go back over it with the body spray.
Whoooooooaaaa no judgement but whoooooooaa And I thought my 6 to 10 1 perfume sprays made me an over sprayer . The entire block should be able to smell you through mask and all lol.

Girl i can smell you through the screen!!!!!! 1st i shower with a bar soap most likely dove. 2nd i use the shower gel of the fragrance i am gonna use. 3rd i lotion with some coconut oil 4 then i put on the fragrance body lotion i use to the shower gel earlier 5 then i spray my fragrance to the lotion i use. 6 then i use another fragrance with similar notes in it After watching this i think i should start my youtube channel

I like to use the Vaseline intensive repair unscented lotion and that helps my fragrance last longer. I just like to work with one fragrance a day because I have a baby. 2 sprays and that’s it.

Hi, love! If you have longevity or projection issues with your perfume, the body mist can help increase your perfume’s performance in those areas! Also, if there’s a particular note that you want to amplify in your perfume (for instance, vanilla), you can use a body mist focused on that note with your perfume to do so. I hope that helps! ❤️
Girrrllll I combined my BBW lotions and spray with perfume and it’s been driving men wild lol 😂. One dude tracked me down and told me I smelled amazing like blossoms and bubble gum lol 😂 Thanks again for the tips😂🤗
