Hello... Thanks for the informative video. I have 1 question:- In case of study of 1+1 year in two different provinces, then which province I need to select?
Hi Dhruv. I have one doubt in filling the column of education details. I already have a bachelor's degree from India. That was my highest qualification from education. And I did one + one course from Conestoga College which was a post-graduate diploma certificate course. So did I need to mention my Bachelor's degree or PG diploma start and end date in the education column. Hope you will respond soon. Thanks
hy dhruv I have completed my 1+1 from two different provinces, however there is only one selection for the province. what should I write in province. And your video was on point and easy to understand.
@DhruvCanada hi sir I have doubts I completed 1+1 year study and in my 1 year study I have co up so do I need to mention co-up while applying work permit plz clear my doubts thank you
The video was very informative and it helped me to fill in information without having any immigration agent's help!! Thank you and you did a great work on this video
Hi Dhruv , I have one quick doubt on education section . I completed my 1+1 on two different fields Eg: 1yr in robotics and 1yr in Quality engineering. So how should I write the one field of study as I completed in two different fields. Hoping you have a solution. Thnks
Oh yes basically it will be similar to like how I did so just mention the main course headings of both the courses and explain a little bit about them in the SOP that should be good enough!
Thank you for the Information! But I need to ask a different question about the study permit Conditions and won't like to disclose it here so how can I ask you ? Thank you so much for your consideration!

Similar case. I am going to write my bachelors degree (being highest degree as they say " highest degree, not latest degree") in the education column in the form. I will mention both 1+1 courses from Canada, in my SOP.
You just need to do it the way I did, even I did my bachelor's back home but I did not mention that directly, IRCC already knows about your previous degree which you would have provided while you were applying to come here but in PGWP just mention the courses that you did here so that they can know that you did total of 2 courses with duration of 16 or more months so that you will be eligible for a 3 year PGWP. Just keep it as I did in the video because some of my friends who did it in a different way got additional information request in their portals. So just try to avoid that!
If you are taking your co-op then you need to mention that as well but if it’s an optional co-op and you are not taking it then you don’t need to worry about mentioning it.
Hi Dhruv, thanks for this video. It is quite helpful. I only had one concern as you mentioned that we need to write the 1+1 both courses in education section only, but the Name section is limited to certain characters and it doesnot allow to write the names of both the courses. What to do in that case?
In that case just try to type in the important part of the name instead of the complete name like instead of Cloud Architecture and Administration just type Cloud Architecture!
very good video. But i don't think we have to fill imm5257 form on the basis of 1+1 program, rather we can fill in that form for TRV and pay additional amount for your Temporary resident visa
Hi Dhruv thanks for the helpful video! I have a question about the transcripts you mentioned. Do I need to submit transcripts from my degree completed in India, or do I need to include transcripts from the courses I'm currently taking in Canada as well?
@dhruv I have one doubt, there is a section in form imm5710 of coming into Canada where they are asking for most recent document number. So in my case I applied trv on study permit only so I have the latest document as trv but we are applying work permit on the basis of study. So should I give the study permit document number or the latest TRV document number in that column.
You should give your most recent study permit in that but it will not be a harm if you upload the TRV as well because one of my friends did the same and they had no issues!
Hey Dhruv! Thank you for an informative video. I have a question regarding the Education section on the 5710 form. If I had taken a break between my two programs, Is it okay to put the end date of the second program?
Hi Dhruv..could you please me out with a question…I have done only 1year study and haven’t worked on SIN yet. What should I write in Employment section in IMM5710e form?
Hi, if you did not work on SIN you do not need to mention anything in that form but if you got any other form from your employer like T4A or something else then you will need to declare that, but if you did not get any form like that then just keep that space empty!
Hi Dhruv! I’m confused with one of the education section. When i applied for study permit (from India) I was enrolled in Masters and did not mention it as i was in my last semester when applied for study visa.(As suggested by my agent) Can i mention it now Since i got graduated after i came to Canada?
You made a very good video, it was very helpful and informative. I have a question, I submitted my work permit application today and received the application confirmation letter at the same time. So can I start working now or do I have to wait for another letter?
Hi Dhruv, thanks for the video. I just had one doubt, i did both my courses from Seneca , so my recent transcript has both grades for 1st year and 2nd year course in 1 pdf already. I hope thats fine to upload in recent education transcript. Not two separate ones. Thanks!
Yes I would say write your most recent 3 in the section and rest you can fill in the form as per space available or mention them in the paragraph that you'll write. But other than that if you have mentioned those jobs T4's in your Tax Returns they should already have that info of yours!
Hi Dhruv, thank you for all the information, I have one question as I attended 4 months in a college then I dropped that program and after that, I have completed 1+1 courses in 2 different colleges. So to apply for pgwp, do I need to mention that previous 4 months or added any documents for that. please ans if you have any idea. thank you
You can but make sure as soon as you get the completion letter you will need to STOP working. But you can continue to work as well if you meet the 5 conditions that I mentioned in my pinned comment in my latest video, only then you can continue to work!
hello sir thank you for the video and all of the details, i have small issue, in "imm 5257 annexe" section "previous travel" no country in the list the select input are empty, did the only one that faced this problem thank you
Hiii actually I have cocern that I have co-op work permit but I am not eligible for that so I have to enter date when I completed my graduation or I have to enter date in form which is mentioned in co-op work permit
Hello Dhruv, My question to you is I did 2 different courses from same college first one is Supply Chain Management and second one is Bus. Mgt. Entrepreneur Entrprs now what shoul i write in "Field and Level of Study" section
hi I renewed my passport during my last year of studies so should i write my new passport number in the form or the old one through which I have been issued my study permit
Bro i have just one question so my 1 first year course that i applied for is pg diploma in business management which is totally related to my previous studies i.e BBA so when i will take my 2nd year course can i pursue some other field related courses like IT, health related courses?
hi. when you paid the fees at the end, was the fees of 155 and 100 already mentioned there or you had to select from any options? i'm only asking because i have to apply for pgwp as well but because my study permit has expired i will have to pay an additional fees of 350$ as well. so can u pls tell if at the end of this process was there an option to select restoration fees?
Hello @DhruvCanada, I recently applied for PGWP (after 1+1 course), but I didn't write first course start date in "from" section and didn't write both college names. So is it going to cause any major problem? Is there any way to resubmit or correct it?
Hey I have a question I did masters degree back in India and then did diploma here, so in the education section it says highest level. Do I add the details of masters or my Canadian diploma?
