How to do it yourself application of Swarovski crystal flat back rhinestones to a graduation cap. High school, college, or any graduation ceremony, this is a fun and easy way to add some twinkle to your special day.
Great Job! I'm looking for one of the sticks you are using in the video. I have all my rhinestones and the E6000 but this will go a lot easier with the stick! Thanks
Love your work, you are super talented and creative. Can you please do a tutorial on how to put swarovski rhinestones on a dog collar. Thanks in advance.
Hello, Try waiting for it to dry and peel it off if possible, otherwise I have no idea. Try nail polish remover, goof off, or mineral spirits....these are just some ideas and I have never tried them before.
Would you recommend using hotfix, or do you find this easier/faster instead? I was worried about the material of the mortarboard (polyester I think) and the wand burning the fabric. Thanks for the vid - I've been planning something like this for my grad but am not crafty at all and this pointed me in the right direction!
Hey I've got some stuff from you and I've done a couple of pairs of shoes but before I do anything else I just want to work out how to get excess glue off the stones when it's dry? Is it possible or am I stuck with it as a "lesson learned" ? I find the e6000 dries up so quickly in the syringe it gets blocked I still haven't managed to get the right amount of glue on the surface my stones go on the glue and then the glue comes up over the edges and dulls their shine :(
