How to apply tape hair extensions yourself. I hope this video was helpful and please if you have any questions at all leave a comment :) The hair extensions I use are "Medusa Hair Extensions" I can't even begin to explain to you guys how soft they are ! Ive tried so many different tape extensions and these ones are the best by far.

Bethany Balady Haha I had to :) that's what most people want to see ☺️ I've tried ebay ones, Aussie dream girls extensions and a few others, the Medusa ones by far have been my favourite, haven't lost any yet and they are so over due to come out 😂

I know this is an old video so you may not see this!😅😅but I’m looking to do these myself and love your method!! I’m just a bit confused though? You said that you used 3 packs which is 60 but will equal 30 wefts once sandwiched together, but in the video I counted more than that? I just want my hair to turn out as good as yours because we have the same hair cut and I just thought I’d ask!:) thank you and you still a stellar job!!:)

ana salaji They are re usable as long as you look after them :) Once removed just pick the old tape off and apply some fresh tape to them ❤️

Awesome video. Thank you!!! I have never seen anyone apply the top extension first. I will try that next time. It seems easier to keep them straight. I'd also love to see a removal and reapplying video. I struggle with that, usually end up ripping my hair out. : /

I just did these myself as well and I have a question. I didn’t put them that high up and there’s a decent amount of hair covering the top ones but if I move my hair a certain way or it’s windy you can def see the very top ones. What do you suggest I do?

*There is a right and a wrong way to put these in and this is the wrong as you put them in way to close to the hair line so they hump out and dont lay flat which you could see when you did the side, they just didnt lay flat they bumped out which doesnt look or feel natural, if you apply them with a space at the root they will lay flat like your own hair, Guy Tang shows the right way in his vlogs when he puts them in actress Tori Spellings hair, iv had them done both ways and leaving a space and not applying them to the hair line is so much more comfortable and looks and lays more natural like your own hair*

Liverbird 55 I’ve had them applied several ways too, and I love doing them this way. There is no right or wrong way, there is just different ways. I get rid of any excess hair that isn’t stuck before sticking the other side on, it makes them sit more comfortably. They all flip up and down easily when I apply them. Sometimes the odd one is too close,. Because clearly I am doing it myself and it’s hard to get it perfect.. x

I wish you could do an updated video with it slower for the top part of your hair. How did you get it so natural-looking? I just put some tape ins in on my sides after watching your tutorial, but am afraid to do it on top. Btw, I love your tutorials and style, and your accent! Thank you for not talking like a teenager, which I find most You Tube makeup gurus do if they are under thirty! Also, you don't speak rapidly, which is another plus.

I personally find this way the easiest. And the tape sticks itself to as much hair as it needs, the other method would be hard to do on yourself.

You need to sort the colour out, your natural hair needs cutting and you need a deep conditioner

Just wondering how long you've worn tape in extensions. Have you experienced any damage? Do you ever go for any length of time without them? I've worn them for 3 years, and my stylist is recommending I take a break from them. He's not seeing any damage, but believes they may be stressing my hair after 3 years. I REALLY hate the idea of being without them! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Lori Michrina I always try to have them out for a little bit each time, it's nice to be able to use different hair products and give it a good wash :) My hair is quite damaged so I do get a bit of breakage, no harm in having them out for a month or two between each application 😘

How long have you had these in? Are they still as lovely as when you first got them? I'm so paranoid after purchasing from what was supposed to be a good brand and they ended up horrible quality after washing them.

Hey hun, I have had them in since I put this video up, Good quality hair will stay amazing for ages even after washes, as long as you use the correct hair care and look after them. Supermarket and cheap shampoos and conditioner will kill them straight away, at the moment I'm using show pony hair products which are made for extensions, also dont sleep with your hair out, i have it in a high ponytail or a big braid when I sleep.

Kirstie, now you have darker hair, do you think you could do a updated video on how to apply tape ins? I’ve got very dark brown hair and I find it soooo hard to see anything when I’m applying dark extensions to DARK hair! 😩😩 It’s really a nightmare. I had my mom do it the last time, but she hates it, haha.

I just had tape ins put in. love them. however I could only do a low ponytail. when you pull your hair to a top pony are you flipping up the tape ins? technically the tape are straight and your pulling your pony hair up at an angle. do you know what I mean?

Sue Schultz Tip your head upside down to make a high pony tail :) the tapes should be able to freely flip up and down. Yeah they aren't going to be on the exact perfect angle for the ponytail but it works. I don't see why you can't 😊

Jeremy Millares Yeah a few people have said that. In Aus in stores its nearly $20 online I did find it for $7 so I ordered a few, but I haven’t had grey hair now for quite a while ☺️
