I went to Cancun in April and I had the time of my life! I did so many things and met so many awesome people, and the experiences were incredible! I miss everything so much. I hope to become a G.O. in the (distant) future because I want to help create amazing experiences for other people, just like mine. ClubMed is the best.

I’ve worked for club med before, I went as a ski instructor in Japan, through a separate company. If you want to continue or do club med basically if you can only speak English you’ve not got much chance to get a job... other than ski GOs there isn’t many British GOs, the pay isn’t great either, for the 1000 hours a week you end up doing instead of your contracted hours, 9-5 more like 8am to 1am. If u wanna work for club med just be aware it’s extremely hard work and long hours for a mediocre pay
@JessLaventure
@JessLaventure 5 лет назад
Oli Firth I agree that the experience is not for everyone... you do work long hours. And the the pay isn’t very high because everything is paid for you: lodging, food, drinks at the bar, uniform, housekeeping, laundry, etc... You have no expenses, except for the activities you choose to do on your days off. It’s possible to go several months without spending a single dime, so the salary you get, you pretty much save 100%. As for Language, it is better to speak more than one language, but I know many, MANY G.Os who started working for Club Med speaking only language, and left the company with another or even 2 new languages under their belt. Club Med will also help and encourage you to learn whatever language you want through online training. :)

Hi Jessica! I really like your videos, they are really helpfull! I still don't understand one thing : how do you apply for becoming a snorkling instuctor? they don't mention it in de watersport section... lots of love!
@JessLaventure
@JessLaventure 4 года назад
Hi Gille, I think your best bet would be to apply to the sailing position and mention that you are actually trying to apply to be a snorkeling instructor. But know that not all resorts offer this position, and some of those who do outsource that position. So it may be wiser to apply to another position (for which you have the experience/expertise) and then mention that you are also qualified to be a sailing instructor.

You are so positive! Like your videos! They are really great. I have one question, as I've heard Club Meds resorts are mostly oriented on French people, so it's important to speak English and French fluently. Is it really so? Thanks in advance)))
@JessLaventure
@JessLaventure 5 лет назад
xarrissax Hi there, it really depends on which resorts you go to... Some resorts in the Caribbean are very English or even very Spanish. The more languages you know, the better, but I think your willingness and eagerness to learn NEW languages while at Club Med is really what sets you apart from the rest. :)

@JessLaventure
@JessLaventure 5 лет назад
Hi Renata, This is going to sound cliché, but the best thing you can do is to be yourself. Club Med wants people that are social and friendly, but mostly just genuine. Talk about your experience in the restaurant industry and how you can bring expertise to the job you're applying for, but also talk about your interests, hobbies, passions, etc. If you have any particular talents (singing, acting, dancing, theatre, sports, whatever!) make sure you tell them about that. Good luck, and let me know how it goes! :)

@JessLaventure
@JessLaventure 4 года назад
Hi there, yes I've seen G.Os interning with Club Med, but it depends on the position, the country and the time of year. Your best bet would be to apply through the website and mention that you'd like to apply for an internship. An English CV is always good, but you can probably send it in the language of the recruitment office (use the language that's used on the recruitment website in your area: clubmedjobs.com)

@JessLaventure
@JessLaventure 4 года назад
Hi Agustin, I don't know, it could be both! But I would say that at this time of year, just before the summer, tennis instructors will definitely be needed. It all depends on how many people are accepted. Please keep me posted, and let me know if you have any questions. :)

@JessLaventure
@JessLaventure 5 лет назад
Hi Mary-Ann, I'm so sorry to hear that! The wait can be longer in some cases, like when a lot of people have been selected for the same position for example (we need to have a lot of candidates on standby, because we never know when a resort will call with an immediate need.) That being said, I know the waiting can be a pain. I've contacted the recruiting department and asked them to get in touch with you just to follow up. :) Hang in there!

Nope, no age limit! It’s just a difference in the responsibilities you have, two different positions. One is not necessarily an upgrade over the other, it just depends on what you want (and the job availabilities).

I have applied for my dream job, however, was unable to submit several very important documents during my application. Is there an email address or way I can add these to my application? Question 2. Are we able to apply for more than 1 position at a time? Thank you again for your information, it is greatly appreciated.

Hi Adele, I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you! Were you able to get an answer to your question? Know that you can always direct your questions to the Club Med Jobs facebook page, they usually reply pretty quickly on Messenger. As for applying for more than one position at a time, I would suggest you choose the job you think you are the most qualified for (or want the most!) and then mention in the comments or on your CV what other jobs you are interested in and are qualified for.

Hi there! When you work with the Family team, you can either be a Baby Club G.O (taking care of babies up until 13 months old), a Petit Club G.O (for toddlers between 2 and 3 years old), a Mini Club G.O (for kids between 4 and 10 years old) or a Passworld G.O (for teenagers between 11 and 17 years old). To work in each of these departments, you need to have the right qualifications, either some kind of childcare diploma or previous experience in the field. You'll be taking care of children all day, usually from 9am to 5:00, then from 7pm to 9pm. You may work earlier or later, depending on special occasions. The first thing to do is to head to clubmedjobs.com and to apply through there. :) I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. :)

I received the acceptance email on September 26, 2018. I filled the form with my information, but I still haven't received any emails or calls. Hi Klaus, Don't worry, it can take a few months for people to get the call. It all depends on the need that exists for your particular position.
