Thank you so much brother. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the relevant information's i got from this video. Remain bless. More grace to your able.
Thanks a bunch, Mr otun your page is really informative......pls I really hope to see u research and enlighten us about d topics below with on- screen demonstrations on how to navigate while applying on site, just like you did in one of your videos. 1)provincial nominee programmes type & how to apply. 2)Rural northern immigration program 3)Atlantic immigration NP 4) Express entry 5) LinkedIn optimization
Thanks so much for the information. I have done exactly what is stated in this video I have sent out loads of application but I haven’t even gotten a single response from anyone of them
Yeah. You have to understand that you are not the only one applying. Also try other sites as well and not just Canada job bank. You can check the links I shared in some of the videos in this playlist. ru-vid.com/group/PLXFJWyY8NKIRcXA0B_45qVyXWUAUgFgWc
Just one thing, unless specified, send as the CV as DOC. These recruiters pass applications into the ATS. I read that older ATS have issues reading PDF so it's usually advised to send resume as DOC.
Thanks for your comment. This video is about applying for jobs via mail, so sending a PDF is more appropriate. To your point, I agree that when applicants are applying on an ATS platform like Workday and the rest, it may be more appropriate to use a word document for the initial parse on the platform. Regardless though, based on my experience, all inputs generated from the uploaded CV are still eventually required to be verified and manually adjusted by candidates, so the issue of PDF not being read is almost non-existent.
Thanks, the message is clear and concise. I have a few questions, 1) From your experience, how long do you think an average interview last? 2) Does Canadian employers help with initial accommodation? 3) Did they cover your flight cost? I don't know if you have addressed these before, but kindly explain. Thanks once again.
You can try to go through the playlist. It answers many of the questions that you may have. Career tips and Relocation playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLXFJWyY8NKIRcXA0B_45qVyXWUAUgFgWc Interviews depend on the recruiter. You could have between 1 to 3 interviews before being offered a letter, and it could all be done in a month and each may be just one hour. Paying for accommodation and flight costs are also based on the employer's policy. Some pay, some don't.
Job search is often like that, especially for relocation purpose. Try not to focus only on Canada job bank cos so many people are also applying as you are. I have had people chat me up to say they got a feedback, so it can be luck sometimes. Try other job links in the playlist below. Check videos 4,6,7,8 and 12. You have my best wishes. ru-vid.com/group/PLXFJWyY8NKIRcXA0B_45qVyXWUAUgFgWc
Thanks for the good job u are doing, my question is do I need to send my CV and cover letter when I'm applying for the first time or what do I need to right for the first time I'm applying. kindly help me out
Please an employer contacted me recently and she said I have to do my biometric and evaluate my education before I can be considered. Do you know anything about that please
I am not sure about the biometrics. You can check this guide here www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/identity-management/biometrics/procedures.html For the education evaluation, you can check WES here www.wes.org/ca/evaluations-and-fees/
@bjcupid you need WES to evaluate your highest qualification and also do your biometrics at the Canada visa submission center, but you need to submit your visa application before biometrics
You can download it in the description box of the video. The idea is that when you send a mail to a recruiter to apply for a job, you are supposed to include a subject (heading of the mail) and also a body (within the mail), so that you won’t only be sending your CV without writing something to inform the recruiter about the purpose of the CV you sent. I have provided a template for you to edit based on the job you are applying for.
@@ifrsiseasy I will. I've seen all your videos and to be honest everything you said is right 100%, currently i am working on them to improve. Although i got similar experience
Please can you do a video about how to relocate to Canada with temporary foreign worker program (where the employer will assist with relocation cost) for example we will go about it negotiating on the relocation cost
Hi Francis. Thanks for the question. My videos focus on Temporary foreign worker program. However, one can't really say whether an employer will assist with relocation cost or not. The best that may be done is to have a discussion with the employer during interviews or after receiving the offer of employment. Here's the playlist👇🏾 ru-vid.com/group/PLXFJWyY8NKIRcXA0B_45qVyXWUAUgFgWc
Thank you very much. Please what time is best to send application to recruiters in Canada from Nigeria? Secondly, what should the body of the mail include if I am attaching a CV and a cover letter? Thank you as I await your response.
I don't think there's a specific time. But you can consider that Nigeria is 6 to 8 hours ahead of Canada. So if you are sending a mail and you want the recruiter to get it in the morning, you can target 3pm to 5pm Nigerian time
The body of the mail should show the greeting, the reason why you are sending the mail, a brief one paragraph about your experience, then you close it with the fact that you look forward to a favorable response. Then closing salutation.
Please how do i write a cover letter that the job demand no experience.i mean the cv n resume stuff please really explain to me how to write a captivating letter
You can use the template within the video’s description box. And edit out the experience section. You can also search on google for templates of what you are looking for.
Thanks for sharing this with us it really helps a lot, pls their is something I need to know. When applying for this jobs are we suppose to add the country we are applying from?
I don’t think you need to be concerned about when to apply. However if you want to check, you can search for the time zone of where you are applying to on google
Thanks for the information. I would like to ask. When I am sending the cv via email, should the cover letter be the body of the email?. If not, what should I write as the body of the email?
The description box is under the video. Click on "more" on the right side of your screen under the video. Then click the link in the description box under "COVER LETTER GUIDE". You will be able to access the PDF once you do that.
Thanks for the good work you are doing. My question is; should I remove my country name "Nigeria" from my CV? I heard they might denial me of employment because of my country name. Your advice please.
You don't need to include your country. Not because they will deny you though. I shared this and more in this video👇🏾 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GvFYfYp7ezE.html
@@ifrsiseasy thanks so much. I just watched the video. In the mail template you shared, you wrote the name of your country "Nigeria" where you have worked. Can I also write my country name where I've worked too? Will you advice me to do that?
Thanks for the message, pls I’m a new follower,I would like to ask if there is still need to put in experience in ur Cv when the job am applying for states that they will train and also wants to know if it’s all work visa that the employer pays for all the relocation especially in Canada
My is about cv I'm a technician practicing and had bsc in computer science NOUN with other certificate courses on Human resource management project management and cyber security also had ND and HND in electrical and power from Nigeria military institutions pls how can I go about writing my cv I need your advice thank brother
It is not advisable, except if you don’t want the employer to help you with a visa sponsorship. I shared how you can appropriately position your CV here👇🏽 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GvFYfYp7ezE.html
Boss you have earned a new follower, now my question.. Is it necessary to add some supporting documents like your professional certs and other recommendation letters if possible. eg A plumber with training certificate can add it to the resume and the CV
Pls, is it advisable to send both d cover letter and Resume together In PDF format or type d cover letter by one self followed by attaching d Resume. Thks
So please does it mean you have to send the recruiter your application and cv through email or there is something you have to send to him or her first before sending application?
The job post always indicates what to do when you scroll down to the last page of the advert. Often you are meant to send your application to a mail by attaching your CV and including your responses in the body of the mail.
Thank you for sharing this but I noticed that those who university level got job sometimes pls sir I want to know can secondary level get job as well with good cv and recover letter ??
Good afternoon big bro please am confused at this point after sending a mail to the employee what kind of email would they replay you with and when they finally reply what what would they ask you to submit for that
They will most likely send a mail to schedule an interview with you. You can check this video for the likely documents you may need👇🏽 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qM2-GUNDd50.html
There’s a downloadable word document and PDF in the description box that you can use to create yours. Click on “more” below the video and scroll down to see the links to download them.
This video is very helpful. Pls, if I want to add dependent to my application (open work permit), is it after the LMIA has been approved or i’ll add the dependent details to the LMIA before sending it. Thanks
Good afternoon sir Please I have a question Searching on job bank, when employer says other candidate with or without a valid Canadian work permit can apply. Please does that mean foreign worker can apply for the job?
I can imagine. Don’t focus on only Canada job bank. Try other job links in videos 4,6,7,8, 12 and 24 in the playlist below.👇🏽 ru-vid.com/group/PLXFJWyY8NKIRcXA0B_45qVyXWUAUgFgWc
I ran my resume on topcv .. and it says I have too many passive language instead of active languages ..tried to rectify it to no avail .. can you suggest a few solutions please
My brother I wanted to what if the position I want to apply doesn't require experience and qualification but me I have qualification and more experience on that position what can you advice please, must I remove all my experience and qualification or what please help me with advice 👏👏
It's a tricky one. Not all employers may want to invite those that are "over qualified" for the role. So you may want to adjust your CV cos of that. I don't think there's a standard way of looking at it.
Good day bro, thank you for the information, pls I would like to know if: 1. This process covers spouse 2. Will the spouse also be allowed to work over there through this pathway? Please I need your response on this.
No it is not necessary. If you watch the first video in this playlist, I explained that the recruiter called my Nigerian number directly.👇🏾 ru-vid.com/group/PLXFJWyY8NKIRcXA0B_45qVyXWUAUgFgWc
It is expected to, especially the aspect of professional summary. You can use this video as a guide if you are yet to see it.👇🏽 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GvFYfYp7ezE.html
Hello sir please answer me. I applied on job bank mostly for unskilled jobs but I mostly used only my cover letter because the jobs were unskilled and asked for no experience. Is there any problem if I didn't send CV ?
It depends on if the employer stated it within the job advert that you should send your CV. If it wasn't stated, you may not need to worry. Preferably, you can send a CV going forward. It's better to send it than not to, just in case.
It’s in the description box of the video. Click on the three dots “…” below the video to expand the description box, then scroll down to access the links.
It depends on the employer and the deadline of the job application. Some wait until the deadline has passed before reaching out to candidates. Just keep applying.
Thank you for this video🙏🙏 Please my question is what if have sent my cv and cover letter to the recruiter but not in pdf format, can I resend in pdf format to same recruiter? Question 2 : how do you know if recruiter on jobbank are recruiting foreign workers?
This playlist answers some questions you may have, especially the 4th video on the playlist. It should answer your second question. ru-vid.com/group/PLXFJWyY8NKIRcXA0B_45qVyXWUAUgFgWc
It depends on the employer and number of people that applied plus the requirements they are looking for. That's why it's advisable to apply to several opportunities.
@@ifrsiseasy okay sir ummm.... Please how do one research the Canadian J0b market to identify the specific requirements and expectations of empIoyers in order to incorporate them into our CV.
I also have another question sir is there any advice for someone who wants to get a Canada job and relocate, but had no work experience or degree not even secondary school qualifications. How can he succeed in it and what are the things he needs to do 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Please help on this.
Each job post often indicates the job description. You can use that. For someone with no experience, there are jobs that don't require experience. e.g farm workers. To develop a cv for stuffs like that, google by typing the name of the role and type cv at the back, you'll see a list of templates to adapt. e.g Google "farm worker cv"
You can learn everything about it here👇🏽 www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/find-national-occupation-code.html
