Thank you so much for this video, as I'm applying this cycle. Also, you're amazing! You seem so well-rounded. I'm curious, what topic was your year and 1/2 research project on? I did one on mushroom phylogeny :)

Do you have any tips on making that 4500 word essay? Can you give an example ? I am still in my undergraduate years, I would love for you to make a video about how to study and store information because I have a hard time with the way my teachers teach in my community college.

I was wondering if there is a certain cycle that we should keep in mind when applying for dental school, similar to medical school. Is there a certain period that we need to apply and submit our application? Should we take the DAT first then add it to our application?

Hey, just a question. Almost done with prereqs, applying in June but have pretty low shadowing hours. Have 8 months to get to 50. Do most dental schools want you to have 50, or do most require it before you apply.

Hey...this was a very helpful video..i just had one question..which i cant find anywhere!!! When is the deadline to apply to dental school? Is it December?

Hey :) Each dental school has their own deadline, some as early as October and some as late as February. When you open your AADSAS application you will be able to see the deadline for each school, or you can check the school’s website directly. Hope that helps 🙏

Thank you for the video. It really helped. I want to know more about it. I’m from India and after 12th grade I want to come to foreign countries. Which exams do I need to give??

Divya Nakhye that is wonderful! To apply to a university as an undergraduate student here in the states, I think the only exam you need is the SAT :) does that answer your question?

Can I start the application in AADSAS and fill it up little by little?

Yes! The application opens in the beginning of June, so the only thing is you should aim to submit it that same summer. It allows you to enter information, save, and come back and edit. But once you submit you can’t edit anymore.

@@jasmineahrar No way, really?? I graduated with my bachelors with a 3.7 avg and took a gap year where I spent 9 months away from academia. I just started studying for the DAT (early Feb atm) and I am in dread because I want to take it in late May/early June to apply for dental school in time for enrollment (June/August??). And I feel so hopeless and daunted by the material, even though I know I am capable and this is all stuff I've learned before... But I am panicking and wondering if I just don't have it in me anymore. I feel like I don't have enough time to study, so hearing that you spent a month studying really makes me feel better, and I know if I start now I won't wind up studying as much like a maniac later so THANK YOU.
