I couldn't sleep and eat for many days thinking of renewing my study permit and also I don't have any relative here from whom i could get any help. I just got my permit approved after a few months of waiting, and I'm so thankful for this video. I was lost at the beginning of the process since I had no one to help me and had to create an IRCC account all by myself. Luckily, you explained every step of the process in detail and with great examples of formatting! A tip for anyone applying to extend their permit: be organized with your documents, and remain patient. I know reading all these comments of permits being approved within one week can be discouraging, especially when you have been waiting for a while, but remember it's not something you can control. I believe 20 hour study permit extension is applicable only while you are on active study term. if you have a break during which you get a study permit extension, you can still be able to work more than 20hrs

If my permit expires on April 1st of 2024 and the expected completion of my study is by the end of April 2024, what dates should I put inside the box of *expected study FROM and TO* if we also count the lead time of approximately 6 weeks for the college to produce our marks and diploma after the last day of school?

Cos there is a part that says in Section COMING INTO CANADA. iT PUTS A SUBTEXT "Date and place of your most recent entry to Canada (if not the same as original entry)" I left it blank but it won't validate. I also put in the date I came in but it still won't validate. Any ideas?

hello, i have a question. if we are filling the details regarding intended study in Canada, you said we need to write the date on which we are filling this form in the “from” section and the date till when we need our study permit in “to”. but, don’t they ask for your letter of acceptance? like i need to write the date when my study is getting over right? i need help if you can explain this please.

Now I would like to renew on my own (from Canada), am I dependent on the consultant for renewal. People said I don't need the consultant and can be done myself. Correct me if I am wrong.. In the "duration of expected study", shouldnt we put in the FROM date from which our course will be starting (future date), which is mentioned on our offer letter... for me that make sense and I put that and it worked for me with no errors. Hi Piyush, Thank you for such an informative video. The SP extension processing time is over 5 months as of today; you have selected a fresh study permit application when checking processing times. There is an option to choose Permit Study extension in that drop-down list. Also, did you re-appear for the IELTS exam? As I can see, you've mentioned "Yes" in your IMM form for the IELTS exam. Hi, i got my visa approved on july 25th, though my college wanted all the approved visas before july 3rd and the one's who did not receive at that moment had to differ for the next intake. so i had to differ for jan 2024. with regard to this my study permit expires in april. i'll be landing to canada on 3rd of dec. can you give me some advice on this, by when should i apply for this extension and since my college starts on jan 8th how can i show any transcripts or employement details. let me also know should i extend my pgwp at the same time.. Hey Piyush! Thank you so much for your detailed information on filling out this form! However, I did have a confusion in regards to uploading the “validated” form. When you save the form from Adobe Reader to your PC and then try to upload it on the IRCC page, is there a way to make sure that it has actually been uploaded? I ask because when I was “choosing file” to upload, the tiny thumbnail in my PC still shows what we see when we try opening the form without Adobe Reader, where it shows the white page saying “unable to view”

My student visa is expiring on 30 September, but as per my studies on paper it’s over in Dec 23 But I didn’t take the break in between so it will be over in Aug. My passport expires June 1, 2024 Course will be completed in September, 2024 Therefore they provided me study permit with expiration date of May 30, 2024.
