This is how I like to apply my water decals. If you have any additional tips or tricks please comment them below! Follow me on Instagram and TikTok @sadlerupnails @b_sadlernailedit
Applying full cover decals with a nail stamper helps a lot with avoiding air bubbles and creases on the edges. If you're using smaller decals, it also helps you to see and line up exactly where you want the decal to be. :)
Your videos are very good. Thank you for sharing. I'm a retired nail pro of 40+ years and and one of the original Minx nail educators. So here are my techniques for no creasing. 2 ways to apply . Begin by applying the wrap at the tip of the nail laying it down from center to outer edges until you have covered the nail. This way you can work the crease out as you apply. This is the best method for nails that have more curve, Another easy way is to snip cuts into outer sides of decal a little before application. btw your nails are beautifully done.
I got my decals in yesterday that I ordered from you. I am in love. I’ve never used any decals before and I don’t even plan on trying out from anywhere else but you. They were so easy to use. And they turned out great. I’ve only applied the Selena decals but I can’t wait to use the others 😊. Thank you for this video
I have terrible trouble getting a decal to lay correctly because of the curve of my nails. I’ll try your technique for applying next time to see if it helps.
Hi! You are awesome with your videos! Thank you so much! Just curious, what do you use for a base color if your wrap is multicolored? Or do you use white base color and do a clear decal instead?
Yeah I would definitely do regular nail prep on natural nails before the basecoat step. The oils in our nails cause lifting for the products your decal is going on top of.
What can I put on my E-fille to make the sides smooth? The buffing block works its just really tiring when I'm doing a lot of nails. I think putting something on the efile will be easier for me.
How would you apply a full wrap to a natural nail? I can’t file the cuticle and sidewall area to seal it when it’s on the nail attached to a finger lol
So i followed your steps to making them and i love it thank you! My question is i see you tug a bit and stretch it how do you keep from ripping it? Mine rip if i do that? Am i not spraying them enough? I have the same paper and same spray i would love to know what I’m doing wrong. Especially with the few wrinkles when i try to work them out it rips 🤦♀️
How do you apply this onto an actual nail? Not a press on. I’m having trouble tearing off the excess decal. I tried using rubbing alcohol and a small brush but it just makes the decal latexy.
Can you please tell me why do you buff the entire decal? I understand buffing the sides to get rid of the extra paper but I don't understand why buff the whole nail. What's the point in that step?
the nail came out so nice! but that was a lot of the decal going to waste it was so cringe🤣😂 cant you just cut off only what you need from the decal & use that? & was the white nail polish as the base color necessary since the decal has a white backing already or?
I watched this video but wasn't sure if I watched the video on how to make decals. Turns out I did. But I didn't watch the video on how to make the foil decals. So if you're monitoring your RU-vid channel and wondering who is going through your videos? It's me! Lol! I have been wondering if I could print my name on a decal and have the decal, of course, put on a nail? But I didn't know it it was possible? Or if I'd either have to buy a nail art brush kit to write my name on a nail? Or order nails from some very kind person who understands that my name isn't common and I never see it as an option to have it on a keychain or anything in a store. But I just wanted the option of having my name on my nails. Well actually going down the length of just one accent nail. So don't mind me. I'm just trying to figure it out.
Please post the link to your video how to apply the full decal onto natural nails. I couldn’t find it in the list. I’m particularly wondering how to trim the sides and around the cuticle.
