Watch this video for a brief and practical session on pedestrian crossings. Covering Zebra crossings, Toucan crossings, Puffin Crossings and Pelican Crossings. Includes driving test tips for the driving test as well.
Roundabout videos are very difficult to create and time consuming as you have to have lots of cameras on the car - I am in the process of making some though - so watch this space !! Thanks for all your positive comments !!
Some of you guys are being absolute arseholes. Just because she didn't pick everything up after the first time he said it doesn't mean she's "thick", especially not when she's under the pressure of trying to drive as a learner AND being filmed. You're all pathetic for taking the piss out of her. Also, I think the instructor is really good. Much much better than mine is. I'm learning more watching this video than I do in my lessons. The only criticism I have is that I think he could have been more comforting when she said "I'm not usually this stupid". He should have told her that he totally understands and that it's normal for learner drivers to make mistakes and to not pick everything up immediately. But apart from that, he seems like a really good instructor.
Watched this and found it very entertaining along with helpful for my ADI Part 3. Had a few mightly chuckles at Holly especially when she mentioned she wanted to get rid of her chewing gum ! I don't know how you could keep your face straight, well in some parts you couldn't :) Very good videos.
I could easily criticize this babe but... I only had a small roundabout and one zebra crossing in the 30 mile radius where I took my test. Rural driving is so easy. What I’m worried about is I’ve been driving for a year now and I just learned a few new driving practices from her. Even though I’m legal I’m horribly inexperienced with urban driving. I seriously need some city experience. A passed test is like reading a book then being expected to know the library.
I think these comments are discussting ...you are supposed to be learning not looking at the drivers looks or the instructor for that matter .. Try other sites if that's what your looking for. This demonstration was very true to life not rehearsed and that young lady acted better than most..we all have to learn. I am a driving instructor myself the only thing I could fault was talking about teat and what the examiner is looking for...as its about proving you can drive safely in general....keep up the good work.
Very instructional... and entertaining. Both of em's got body signals practically screaming "I'm attracted to you." If not for the instructor-student relationship, I'd wish them good luck.
Not seen all of this but some of these comments are rather sad, she isn't that bad of a driver? I used to be a crazy learner...so she seems ok by my standards. The guy is a good instructer, I guess some people are talented to teach...awesome instructer!
It's not a part 3 pedestrian crossings and signal lesson. It is what it is... a lesson on the most common pedestrian crossings which there are 4. I have part 3 videos available - so perhaps watch them if you are studying to be an instructor. You will find when you qualify and have your first check test you will get butchered if you go in the part 3 way... I'm a grade 6 instructor and i've helped over 20 of my own instructors qualify for driveJohnson's first time on there part 3. Take care.
.good video. i'm preparing for my adi part 3 and students like this girl are my favorite. here's some criticism :) i do demonstrate arm signals before we move off though to cover my ass, i've heard that during part 3 it's a must do thing. also you didn't mention a lollipop person at a school crossing nor pegasus aka equestrian crossings. so it is 6 types of pedestrian crossings and not 4 like you stated at 00:54 ;)
she is soooo obviously flirting with him it's quite funny to watch :D Then again, if my instructor was as cute as Anthony, I am sure I would be flirting a bit as well!
can I ask one important qusetion, I have an instructor he is telling me to pull the hand break every time I stop even at zebra crossings. is it neccessary to pull the hand break every time you stop the car please help
I thought that she was just not confident about her answers so she just sayed 1st thing that came to mind lol I was right. Are u not meant to have passed your theroy test before u can drive on roads with a legal driver that has been driving for few years., 1 that doesnt have r plates up? If its not it should be.
At least she is learning. She might not be the smartest girl but i've seen worse drivers. I'm assuming a lot of the people commenting are PDI's like myself, you better get used to pupils who aren't the brightest.
She's not focus at all shes into the cute guy that's why she couldn't answer the questions. All she says is "Yep","ok" and claims she knows what she's doing after he keep telling her the answer she says I knew that yea right. But its just my opinion.
