When you say "Yes" you need to expect to suffer. Good to hear Bill Johnson teaching this truth. It's time that the Body of Christ realizes that opposition will occur when you are no longer compromising with sin. If all is well, get ready. If you are serving Christ wholeheartedly there will be persecution.
Please pray for Pastor Torben Sondergaard who is in jail because of FBI arresting him and have no charges against him. Only crime he committed was to preach the gospel on Jan. 6. He needs all of our assistance and prayers so justice can prevail.
@@ke6gwf You need to look up the whole story. It is not normal to hold him with no charges and especially since he is no threat. It's been months and they won't tell him anything. So you are trying to make sense of the evil world. Good luck.
Teaching for 21 years in the public school system will present many opportunities to suffer as a Christian with fellow colleagues. Walk in love, walk in love, walk in love...the light of the gospel shines really bright at those times.
All i've ever known :) That i may know Him, the Power of His Resurrection.. and the fellowship of His suffering. "If i don't live by the praises of men, then i won't die by their criticisms." That's a powerful statement gosh.
Thank you Pastor Bill for a great message of wisdom … Jesus did all he could but he couldn’t do what I was doing….. if I don’t live by the praises of men I won’t die by their criticisms…. joy comes from the discipline of prayer or the breakthrough of prayer… Grateful
But I thought that Bill said that he refused to have a theology for suffering? This sounds very much like a theology for suffering. Have you recanted that teaching, Bill?
Bill doesnt have a theology of suffering sickness, disease or demonic torment and neither do I, but suffering for the gospel is a promise from God and that is the biblical theology of suffering
Stuck between expect to suffer and where else shall we go. Jesus sometimes I think your plan for your creation sucks. Any other honest Christians out there. I am sorry but suffering personally, or in your kids or spouse life just sucks. Jesus I appreciate what you did on the cross, I know you understand suffering. One day i hope your will explain why it was necessary. One complaint only God, you were a little late with the angel to prevent people re entering the Garden, If only you put the angel in front of the tree of knowledge to prevent Eve and Adam from eating the apple in the first place, think of the suffering you could of prevented?
