Sir...it's my dream to become a good surgeon in my life...and i would anything to achieve that...sir...i want to do my MS from AIIMS...so i just wanted to know...is surgery in AIIMS Bhubaneswar is good or need to join any other Central institute??sir...i will be so grateful if u can guide through this anyway...m so confused..
Oh well the first week was as tough as it can be. I got the worst seniors you could have asked for. Suffered from oral ulcers out of stress and poor sleep. But then my unit changed and got the best seniors . Residency was quite smooth after that. Covid was a challenge though!
Sir That was a very precise guidance.....i was nervous about Surgery as im going to be the first doctor in my family......but after watching this video, it feels that surgery is doable Thanks a lot Sir
Sir a very informative and helpful video.. thank you for uploading this. Sir if you could kindly elaborate on MRCS. how preferable is it? And regarding further training in UK, FRCS.
Sir is that true ?? Peripheral medical colgs are better for surgical branch where u get more chances to handle surgery instead of reputed colgs where hierarchy is there, 1st consultant, then SR, then JR3 then JR1 will touch patient...
No not all.. peripheral colleges are shit with no respect for protocols.. just because you get more cutting doesn’t make you a good surgeon.. you be will cutting without any knowledge.. Good colleges have highly reputed consultants who perform complex surgeries not just stupid hernia appendix surgery like peripheral clgs.. ppl who say that peripheral clgs are better are just jealous
I’m back to this video as I got general surgery seat this year. I’m very much excited🥰 Taking advise from my favourite faculty here😊 Thanks a lot sir!!
Sir pay's surgical handicraft is of two type one is of 500 rup & another one is 1600 rup which is out of two about which u r discussing . & 1600 price book also of two writers one is Walter Pye & one is crowle .... Soo plzz which books we prefer... & What is Latest edition of this book
Sir, a lot of people say that CTVS is a dead branch? Is it? Should I prefer a central institute like PGI Chandigarh for MS surgery or not? Because it is said that junior residents don't get as much hands on experience in central institutes. Regards
Such a nice video sir... Can u please write the names. Of different books or upload their front page as we can buy right book which r u recommending.... Thanks regard
Sir I've one question, What is the difference between fibrocystic disease of the breast and fibroadenoma & breast cyst. these three are separate things , or is it like , fibrocystic brst dx is the umbrella term for all benign breast disease?? Thanks sir
Shashi Bhushan don’t worry. I know many such examples but with time you improve. Once you start seeing structures during surgery, your understanding of anatomy will improve
Respected sir,I would love to take surgery! But I like traveling too! Is it possible to have an yearly trip abroad at least after pg life? How often do we get free time as a general surgeon(after pg life)?
Thanks a lot sir👍🏻😊.. Sir, please can u tell me whether it is enough to do MRCS after MS surgery to practise as breast cancer surgeon Or will i need to MCh also? And sir, please also tell me what's the ideal time to start preparing for MCh? Thank u once again Sir. 🌷

Sir . I want to know at the end of general surgery residency should i know all procedures made by general surgery and how ? . Please consider it . And thanks
Sir, I am in my 2nd Year MBBS, mid of 4th semester.. I am confused whether to go for USMLE or to go for NEET-PG. I am inclined towards Learning in U.S. so as to have higher expertise and skills.; But at the same time, I don't want to withdraw myself from NEET-PG preparations because of the fact that getting into Residency in U.S. is out of the common. Also my financial conditions are not that strong. I am already in a Private Medical college, CCMMC, Durg, Chhattisgarh with an annual fee of around 7 lakhs. But by the time of my Internship, we can gather the amount of 10-12lacs. Sir, I want to know , Is there any "in between" solution for this? Because I dont want my USMLE preparations to affect my NEET-PG preparations. So I was thinking if I should focus only on STEP1 for now and then as per the score of STEP1 ,decide if I can stop preparing for NEET altogether and spend my time and money alone on USMLE. I can't stay out of India for more than 6-7 years. So Can I get back India and directly write superspeciality-exam to pursue cardiology? Is going for Usmle a risk? as getting Residency is tough... What happens to those who couldn't clear it.. What if they dont call you, or you are getting rejected again and again..? Though you have a very decent score. Sir, I am ready to give my 100% for USMLE preparation, and I am confident about my scores. But the thing is, our money and NEET preparation will both be at total risk.
Sir, im from delhi and surgical residents in my hospital warn me never to take surgery. So do my seniors in safdurjang. You already told 1st year residency is tough and Gruelling. Is this the same with 2nd and 3year residency? Also how about after that? Is a good work life-personal life balance possible in surgery after the initial years of residency?
Work and life balance for a doctor , can never be mentioned in same sentence , Either Being a doctor is your life and patient care is everything for you or its not in that case Dermatology , radio , psychiatry and patho are good career options
@@lefthandedsurgeon sir im bascially from pakistan i want just lecture of surgery but marow provide all lectures so kindly tell me about videos only for surgery
