This is pretty good advice, but let me complete it for you fellas. Keep yourself in mind first and formost. Better yourself. Do what you love. Be proud of yourself. Nobody else matters. Seriously. Until they do. This allows you to do whatever you want and be okay with it. Walk up to a girl? No problem, I'm going golfing tomorrow. She rejected me? Whatever, this place serve beer? Asking a girl out is just one more thing you do for yourself. Then if it happens to work out and you guys start talking and stuff, then you can start worrying about her. Until then, you are your own number 1. Trust me, I've been much happier putting myself first.

The fact that the GUY approached a woman means the GUY is already interested and he's showing that. Utter nonsense. The woman holds the choice, and there's no altering that fact. How could one possibly assess her character or life within the brief 2-3 minutes of conversation available? Are you planning to pose 10 questions? Approaching isn't aimed at mutual understanding or ascertaining compatibility; that's practically impossible. It's merely about creating a positive impression so that she might share her number or Instagram, allowing you to set up a date and genuinely get to know each other.
