You can add posture to the mix as well, distance between you and your desk, desk level, distance between your elbow and size. Lot of variable, treat aiming as a sport, you need a good posture first.

Nice I always found it easier to be precise with a more relaxed style and always stuck to it from what I can remember. I had a question are you planning on reviewing the boog75? I've heard it's quite good as a cross between an enthusiast and gaming keyboard. Much love and love watching your content. Also on a related note to the video. Just because you're using your arm to aim doesn't meant you cannot also utilize your wrist and fingers. Of course using your fingers comes down to what type of grip you use, but using your wrist is universal. Usually you want to use your arm for big swipes and adjustments, and then use your wrist and possibly fingers for micro-adjustments if your initial flick is off. Using claw is probably the best of both worlds as if allows more stability compared to fingertip whilst simultaneously giving you more control compared to palm grip. I have personally thought a lot about the different types what would be optimal on paper but I think if you follow the basic stuff it comes down to putting in enough reps of focused practice where you take note of what your aiming needs work on but before even that it's better to build up your base on all the different 'types' of aiming. If anyone reading is interested in that I would check out voltaic, they have a lot of resources and benchmarks to pursue mouse control mastery. (Mouse control -> raw aim mechanics, but not necessarily improving at the actual game i.e crosshair placement, positioning, utility usage, etc.) Edit: another thing I wanted to mention is that certain aiming, grips, sensitivities, etc. are dependent on rest of the context. Such as you would use a finger tip grip with on average a higher sensitivity, and you would do that on games where you NEED the higher sensitivity because of the chaotic nature of the game and a reliance on tracking with higher ttk (time to kill) such as fortnite for example. Whereas games like cs, valorant with low ttk and more "flicky" type of aim you need the precision and usually know where to expect enemies to come from it is better for a lower sens which then feeds into the claw/ palm grip and arm aiming. Of course there can be a good middle ground sens and sometimes you may be already quite experienced with higher or lower sens from playing other gamers previously. But a good middle ground is roughly 30-45cm per 360 degrees of movement. For anyone unfamiliar with that term it's basically the distance you need to move your mouse to do a 360 in game. This is most transferable between games as you don't have to calculate edpi or anything else as it's just an irl measurement. And I am sort of rambling so I just wanted to also add that you don't need the same sens between games as once again the context of the game and the kind of aiming you are doing within the specific game. Thanks for coming to my tedtalk

Loose mouse grip is what a lot of a people struggling to rank up need to apply the most, faster reaction speed and snappy flicks pales in comparison to smooth and slow precision.

@@BTaesthetics You can apply the same principle with drawing, doing arm movement. Hold the pen very lightly and exercice doing straight lines, longer and longer, simple shapes. So ironically, having precise drawing skills and building confidence in your lines help with aiming imo.

Really good tips. Especially the light grip is something I'm trying to improve right now and it's really noticeable in tracking targets. Do you have smooth mouse pad recommendations for fast or hybrid pads?

As someone who prefers Saturn over Zero - weight of the mouse matters. Something over 70g is fine on Zero. Anything lighter and Saturn becomes preferable for me.

@@Knav_XD Zero is just faster, but with heavier mice I have enough control on it. Saturn is a bit slower, just enough to have control on it with lighter mice
