Absolutely beautiful cake and great video! I am thinking about using your method for an upcoming birthday. How deep were your pan sizes? And where did you get the dowel?

Thank you! 🧡 I prefer using 2" deep cake pans. That way, cake will cook evenly and not dry out, as opposed to thick pans. As to the wooden dowels, i got them from a cake store. You may also find it online. Search for wooden cake dowels. Hope this helps.

looks great... is this a 3 kg cake ? 750 grams × 4

Thanks! ♥️ Sorry, we don't weigh our cakes. I think with the buttercream, it might be roughly between 2½ to 3 kilos.

The cake flavor was lemon pound cake. And for a more intense lemon taste, i added lemon syrup. Just lemon juice and sugar cooked over low heat until sugar dissolves.
