What you’ll need:
2.6mm shark clip with swivel
1.9mm waxed Dyneema
Ascension Barrel Sticker
1.10 aluminum Poseidon Barrel
7mm shaft in 160cm Adreno F.G shaft
Microbore OPTIBAND rubbers
Standard South African muzzle bungee
Adreno Poseidon open muzzle
Step 1: Stick the barrel sticker on
Remove stickers on the barrel. Rub down with some isopropyl alcohol, then lay the sticker flat and sit the barrel down centered on it. Wrap that sticker around the barrel. These stickers usually peel off easily and don't leave residue.
Now you've got a clean barrel. Spray it with the rubbing alcohol. Clean up and wipe it down. You want to avoid handling the barrel until you’re ready to put the sticker on. Peel the backing off the sticker. Make sure you have a nice clean workspace.
You’ll notice the sticker has a hole - cut that off at the end. The start of the sticker should line up with the end of the barrel that has the two holes for the handle.
Step 2: Wrap the sticker around
Once you’ve got the sticker in the center of your barrel, you need to wrap it around. Bring it off the edge of the table. Starting from the center, wrap it around your barrel. See if there are any bubbles that you might have missed.
Step 3: Trim it down
Cut the end bit off the excess length using a sharp cutter. Run the blade flat along the track and do one side at a time. Now you’re ready to chuck your muzzle and handle on.
Step 4: Connect muzzle to handle
The handle comes in two small stainless steel screws and one rubber O-ring, with an open muzzle, single screw and another rubber O-ring. Make sure the muzzle and handle fit perfectly. If you have wiggle movement when you fit your handle or muzzle, chuck the O-ring on. You want to make sure that track from the handle lines up with the rail in the barrel. These handles are pre-drilled centers, so you shouldn't be able to put the screws in unless it's lined up correctly.
Working on the muzzle is pretty similar, just the other end of the gun. And you’ve only got one screw. Line up the track in the muzzle with the rail of the barrel. Once it's lined up, flip it over and find the screw hole.
Step 5: Rig the shaft
Attach your muzzle bungee to the muzzle. You've got a single strand of Dyneema to pass through and use that to pull the muzzle bungee Dyneema back. You can see a little hole at the end of your muzzle, run that through. Pass it through the muzzle bungee loop. Now that your muzzle bungee is on, you can put the mono on your shaft.
Step 6: Put mono on shaft
Before you start, put a nice cut on the end of your mono so it's easy to pass through the crimp. If it’s squished or crushed, you'll struggle getting it through the copper double-barrel crimps. Pass it back through the crimp. You can burn a little blob on the end for additional security.
Step 7: Make the bridles
The next step is the rubbers. Take about 20cm of Dyneema. Tie a small stopper knot at each end. Use a figure-8 knot on both ends. The bridle length out of the rubber to be about 60mm, 6cm. So the total length you want is about 80mm. It's going to have a little bit inside the rubber. Tie the knot and cut the tag end.
Cut the rubber down to length. Make sure you've got a good flat end. Put the bridles into the rubber, a little bit of silicone grease on each end. Push it down about 10mm, 20mm. Just give plenty of room to tie your constrictor knot. Be sure to not put this one fully together yet - you've got to put it in the gun first.
Attach the other side of the rubber to the bridle using the same process with the previous one. Now get 4 pieces of 35cm constrictor lines then tie a loop in each end.
Now you’re ready to tie the constrictor knots. Once done, slide them down to the end and cinch them off tight. Slide it down, bend the knot in, just putting a little bit of tension on it so it can't move. Grab a screwdriver or a bridle tool punch to pull it tight.
Step 8: Add shark clip and swivel to the handle
Use 1.9 wax Dyneema and tie off with a double opposing noose knot, about 60cm line.
Pass through the little connection in the bottom of your handle. Once through the shark clip, loop back through the handle, then back through the shark clip. Now you've got two loops running through and two tag ends. Tie the opposing nooses. Pull each noose tightly using pliers and trim the ends off. Once the shark clip is attached you can now connect the speed spike or straight into a float line.

Really cool video. I’d probably run 1.9mm dynema shooting line instead of the mono in red. I’d use red pathos rubbers and round the ends of the rubbers off. Also I’d exchange the shark clip bungee for the pigtail variety. Nice gun, I’ll have to build one.

Good video, but could have done with some close up shots of the more detailed parts of the assembly as it’s hard to see what he’s doing.

Hello, im trying to assemble my speargun. 1. Can I use 2 screws to install the Muzzle? 2. Can I put adhesive before inserting the muzzle/handle to the barrel? 3. Can I put adhesive on the screw thread before installing? Thank you so much for the answer.
