How To Assemble a Tower Garden | True Garden

He says, “here’s your great manual!” I don’t think he knows what a great manual is....I love my tower garden but it’s like traveling down a rabbit hole to get the information you need. They’ll give you one simple sentence to explain a complicated subject. Or they fail to tell you things that can make or break your experience. I set my tower garden up last year & my veggies took off! Then they suddenly they died. When I was removing the plants I saw the insides were full of mold. Everything had to be taken apart piece by piece & I spent so much time & money I was deflated. Had they just told you to make sure to have a fan blowing to prevent this, it would have changed everything. I’m in the process of setting it back up again & I just realized I wasn’t putting the correct amount of fertilizer in it either. For what you pay for this, there should be a simple DETAILED manual so that when you take it out of the box, you could sit down & read actual directions instead of struggling with every detail. Now I know to watch people who are making their own videos but sometimes they don’t help much either. A man must have designed the manual.... they don’t like getting directions or giving them...

Thank you. More video insights lease. Thoroughly enjoy these Tower Gardens even though it would be prohibitive here in Japan. Would really appreciate an objective video on any possible downside to the towers that can be compensated for or improved on.

This is one of my dream having that kind of materials use in gardening sadly here in the Philippines we do not have like that and if we have it here it will cost a lot 😔 but still hoping I can have like that ❤️ maybe in my dreams 😂

I have to say, I’ve purchased and assembled many complex products over my lifetime and the instruction manual that came with my Tower Garden is perhaps one of the most unfit for purpose pieces of literature I’ve ever come across, really frustrating. Thank you for making this video.

The hardest part of the assembly is not shown in this video! The gasket that is supposed to go around the pump cord and through the slot in the bottom of the barrel is too small for the cord and is too big for the slot. I have been trying for a couple of hours, very frustrated with this whole ordeal. Also, not shown in this video is how to hook up the float, the person just drop it into the barrel without saying anything about it.

why are there so many small holes in the flat face of each section if you are only using 2 of the holes?

So your saying put the rod in the inside A-hole, than alternate between a hole and b hole for wet crispy food

Have you ever heard of the GT Silencer? It is sold by Level2 Concepts LLC? It appears to be a round filter that fits into the sections that majorly dampens the trickling water sound. For me it would be a game changer. I would like to have my Home system in my kitchen vs basement. Your thoughts appreciated

you didn't finish talking about the pump that you placed inside the tower base - where and how does it plug in? is it submersible?

If you are using outdoors where are you going to plug in at? Please add a solar pump.

Well I didn't get a manual with my Tower Garden and I am following along with you, so far so good except I have no clue what to do with the float, how does it install? I only saw you drop it inside after you installed the pump hose. Anyone???

I am undecided if I want the flex or home. Only true advantage of flex so far for me is the flat surface if I decide to try small cucumbers , I wont be taking it outside, YOur thoughts on that please

The only opening in the base is where you snap in the plastic logo. It is not clear how the cords come to the outside of the base?

Can I buy a replacement reservoir tub for the Flex or Home model?

I have an older Flex system. The base (bucket and cover) needs to be replaced. Is it possible to replace it with the Home system base? And use the Flex sections, pump etc... that I have for the flex?

Hi, did you say the water pump on "Indoor" will cycle 5 mins on and 45 mins off? I have an older timer for indoor flex and have it at 15 mins on 45 mins off. Is that necessary. Is the 5 mins on adequate? And is the 5 mins on/45 off cycle continuous for 24 hours? No change for night time?

can u also plant climber/creepers plants with those towers because i could not find anyone grow those tree indoor.... may be they naturally grow vertically i guess.....

Watched and assembled yet by the time I get to the micro greens bins I am not able to get them to align up like this guy does on the video! I have checked and rechecked the sections of the towers which are on correctly, yet when it comes to the last two micro green tops…I am going crazy!!! Any suggestions? Thank you
