How to Assemble a Williams-Sonoma West Elm Mid-Century Desk - Agile Remodeling Handyman - Kenmore WA 

Hello, we have the same issue with my son’s middle desk drawer. He packed it to the gills and now there is something behind the middle drawer and it will not close all the way. I see that there are tabs on both the far right and far left of the bottom of the drawer (not the guides) that are adjustable as if that’s keeping the drawer from coming out all the way. Nope, I moved them and aligned in the direction of the drawer’s movement and it still will not come out. Wondering if you figured it out?

Hi. I have good news and bad news. Bad news first, there is no way to get it out by removing anything. Good news: in desperation I pulled it out very hard. The plastic bits that stop it coming out just snap off. It now comes all the way out, but is otherwise exactly the same to open and close. I could remove the pens and stuff and now it’s good as new

Hahah! I was so happy to see your reply. I sat with this desk for an hour trying to figure out how the heck to get a screw driver under the drawer to remove the plastic stoppers you mentioned. I love that you just yanked it out!! Geez, I’ll have to do the same. It’s a lovely desk that looks ridiculous with the drawer sticking out. Thank you for responding! Mental note for a future desk - drawers must come out all the way! Who doesn’t lose things behind drawers?? Have a great day!
