I bought this grill four or five years ago. It was troublesome but it's a certain section or sections you will have to go forward assemble parts together, then connect it to a certain section. Sorry for everyone's troubles.
Make sure the two sides with the vent holes are facing the right direction!!! Almost took it back after THREE hours of trying to figure out the part at 1:17 . Very frustrating.
I messed up with left front leg being in the rear and vice versa. So now the bottle opener is in the rear......said f*** it, whoever wants a beer bad enough can suffer some heat 😂
Make sure your left and right side panels are correct. There should be a small hole at the top facing the hood of grill. This will save time and frustration once you get to 1:17 and 2:36.
Why is it so hard to assemble this grill! Can't deal. The piece that lowers the charcoal tray is so hard to attach, why does this have to be rocket science?!
It's not lol..just make sure the tracks are correct, I didn't even know there was an issue with that part. My problem is that it didn't come with a tray for the charcoal and I had no idea where I was supposed to set it lol
I bought one of these from Walmart two days ago. (There's is called "Expert Grill", but it's identical to this one) and when I tried to install the grate height adjustment mechanism, it would not go on no matter what I tried to do. I'm not talking about the hand crank part. I mean, the part that you lower down and feed the bolts down into the tracks on each side. The elongated slots in the two arms that the grate brackets hang from don't line up with the tracks on the sides in the inside of the grill, so that when you try to install the mechanism, it won't go down into the slots on the inside of the front of the grill where the hand crank is. It's too long by approximately 3/8 "
No, I tried today drilling out the spot welds that hold the two tracks on to the sides that the bolts slide up and down in so that I could move them over enough to line up with the bolts that ride in them, but there were more spot welds holding them on than I thought. After I drilled the out the ones I thought were holding them on, the tracks still wouldn't come off. I would have to use a hammer and chisel to get them off. Then, I realized taking the tracks off wouldn't be a good idea anyway because the bolts I would have to use to hold the tracks on in the new location would be in the way of the air vents. The only thing I can do is cut out about a 1/2" section of the arms of the grate height adjuster so that the bolts line up with the tracks they are supposed to ride in. I don't have any way to do that at this time, so I can't put the grill together and can't use it. I had to use my old barbecue grill today. It's very frustrating. I can't even take it back to Walmart and exchange it because it says on the box not to do that and to call the manufacturer instead. That's why I tried fixing myself. Otherwise I would have just taken it back to Walmart. I regret very much blowing my money on this thing
Once I put in that section and turn the handle, all it does is push up aginst the piece that is suppose to raise the charcoal sheet. It doesn't raise at all
looking for replacement part - shaft assembly, part that makes it go up and down/piece charcoal tray sits on. Have searched all over the internet - can anyone help?
A little overwhelming at first with all the parts, and 1::7 was a little tricky (lot of one person fumbling to keep the circular bar up as all four guides slipped into the channel), but without this video, this might have taken me days, as opposed to a few hours. Thanks!
Okay so i have mine ready to put the handles on and there's no holes to where it's supposed to be on the legs. I'm about to cry it's been 4 hours of me redoing them trying to find the holes. Just to find there aren't any

It took 3 days to build this son of a b!tch and the lever that brings the grate up and down doesn't work. After kicking the sh!t out of it a few times I'm fine with it just being how it is, I'm so over it!!
