Do you mean by "it doesn't brake" that it doesn't close softly but kind of "crashes" down? The adjustment screw is used for stepless stopping. This means that by adjusting the screw on the side of the power accumulator you just create a balance with the front weight so that the front stops in any position but this doesn't affect the closing speed. Hi Carles, sorry for our late reply. Yes, it's possible. For the AVENTOS HK we are using two different opening angle stops. The part numbers are 20K7011(75°) and 20K7041 (100°). If you are using the new AVENTOS HK top you can adjust the opening angle from 104° to a minimum of 75° in any position cause the opening angle stop is integrated automatically :) Don't hesitate to contact us in case you should have more questions! Hi Grant, thank you for your questions. There could be two reasons why the liftsystem falls down or does not close in a soft way. 1. The lift mechanism is set too low. If so you need to adjust the force exactly to the front weight that the flap stops in any position as shown in here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uNlNTpWKiY8.html 2. Hello Martin, as there are many different types, e.g. different lift mechanisms, different colours of cover caps, different front fixing brackets... we do not offer complete kits but bundled units. For program reasons, we have symmetrical lift mechanisms that can be used on the left and right. This means that the screw positions are the same. If used on both sides on a central panel, this can lead to a collision of the screws. However, we must also use the screws to ensure that the lift mechanism is held in the furniture. Finally, the lift mechanism or these screws must be able to withstand the weight of the front, the forces of movement and, if necessary, overload forces, and ensure that it is held securely. @@BlumFurniturefittings I've been on a dozen websites and nowhere have I seen the cover plates offered in different colors! I wondered why they were grey when most cupboards are white inside. Why aren't the mechanism screw holes threaded so a bolt could be used to bolt them back-to-back through a 3/4" divider? If I used a bolt with a nut would it impede the cover plate? Would the mechanism inside allow for more screw holes so that alternative ones could be used for each side? I'm I the only one with this issue? Be safe also, keep those hands washed.

@@BlumFurniturefittings I have just confirmed with the retailer I've bought these from that they have never had a choice of colors for the cover plates, only grey. This is in the USA.

I have since received these door lifts and there are separate screw holes depending on which side of a cabinet the mechanism is mounted. Therefore the screws will not interfere with each other. Cannot understand why it is so difficult to find this information.

Hello Closer, Thanks for your question. Please use a Pz.2 or Philips size 2 screwdriver bit to adjust the tension of the springs inside the lift mechanism. The place where you can adjust it, is seen in minute 1:08 of the video. I hope this will help you. Have a great day, Beste.

⁠@@BlumFurniturefittings I have used a #2 Phillips but no matter how I try the tension is not adjusting. It stays in same position. Any ideas?
