Ladies I bought an IKEA sofa (not loveseat but the same assembly routine involved) and got stumped at the part where I was trying to fit the armrests to the frame when all the bolts weren't showing through the frame bolt holes. That through me for a loop and I thought I had done something wrong so I phoned IKEA but they didn't have any practical solutions except to watch some RU-vidrs. That's when I rewatched your video (watched it twice - once before I started and once when I reached this impasse) and saw that as long as one bolt showed through enough to get the washer and nut onto it, after that bolt was tightened, it would draw in the others enough to fasten them also. You were a life-saver as I am a signle women and struggle too with mechanical and technical issues that crop up in life. Despite the shakey camera and drops, your video did the trick! Thank you so much for your video that helped and saved me from going nuts!!!!
You are a blessing Nelda!!!! I'm a 26 y/o software engineer moving into his first apartment and I COULD NOT for the life of me figure this this dang thing out! Bless you :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Ms. Nelda! I thought my husband was going to go through the roof trying to put this thing together. You saved the day!
Hi Nelda! Could you help me? I don't want a low-seater sofa, would like At least 18" seat height from the floor... According to Harlanda specs on Ikea website, it is 19+ inches seat height. The uppland is 18+ inches. yet every harlanda I measured in the store had only 15-16 seat height NOTICEABLY lower than the uppland, which is supposed to be lower. Since you HAVE a harlanda, would you please let me know the height, from the floor to the top of the seat cushions? if you can.... thank you!!!
