Wow, very cool vdo on putting on a full body harness, cow's tail, knots 4 the cows, & purpose of ea cows tail. A good buddy system 2 check yur harness b4 going up, 2 pr eyes r better than 1 pr of eyes. A very gd emphasis on lv 1 full body harness. Thx 4 sharing on Utube.

It doesn’t have to be attached to the chest. Some companies require it. But from a manufacturers stance it’s not required. Also, please note it’s a rope access backup device not a fall arrest device and it tested/certified as such. Cheers
Great question. That will depend on the company you are working for. But I would rather cut the tails off. I don’t like when people tape the tails. At the end of the day, they are more likely to get in your way. I hope this answers your question. Mikey
