Thank you so much! I am a beginner and I had no idea how to put a strap on my classical guitar. Thanks to you, I can finally stop worrying about dropping the thing, especially because I am so short!
Indeed, it is a possibility, and of course it depends both on the physique of the player and the width of the strap, the grip of the strap, but if it is something that can't work for many, then there is no choice but to adapt a pin to the guitar or play sitting down ;) Thanks @pagemay
Remember, when the strap is on the worst part of the neck slowly u make the wood adapt to the weight. So u will lose some of guitats intonation and good setup. Its not the best but looks better and its easier to hold the guitar.

Use the shoe lace that comes for free with most straps instead. If the strap you want doesn't have the lace, ask any salesman to give you one from another strap and most will gladly agree.
Is there any advantage to using a device like this as opposed to strap lugs? Never had an acoustic that didn't have them so I haven't had to use a device like this but I'm curious why people would in the first place as opposed to just drilling a couple holes and installing strap lugs
Hi Zayden, yes there are brands that traditionally do not have the straps lugs installed from the factory, and in some guitars usually if they are electrified, they have the lugs, or in the preamp and heel of the guitar but not in others, obviously it is a decision of the owner whether or not to put the lugs to the guitar or simply look for an accessory like this ... Thanks for your comment !
Some guitars lack a strap button due to design preferences or traditional styles like classical or acoustic guitars. Players may opt for alternative strap attachment methods, as we shown in the video or and adding a button is a feasible modification if desired.
Well, I understand your concern and this it could happen, but that's the alternative to drill the wood of your guitar and put a strap pin, it´s your own choice.
