How to Attach and Remove a Tripod Head (Manfrotto 128RC / 190X) for Birding Spotting Scope 

Thank you so much for having such a simplistic video!! It’s been so long since I’ve attached the ball head to my tripod, that I completely forgot how to remove it for travel!!🤦🏼‍♀️

Thanks for making this video. Have the exact same 128rc head and 190x tripod, and the head consistently goes a little wobbly. So I'd periodically tighten the little bottom screw. Now watching your vid, I removed and reattached the head via your steps and it is rock solid. Maybe I didn't have the pan knob tightened fully or something initially and the head wasn't fully screwed onto the tripod column. All good now! Thanks!

Very valuable information. I just bought a used Manfrotto 190go tripod through eBay and while it's in excellent condition it didn't come with a manual. I bought a fluid head for it but had no clue about how to change the head. Many thanks!

Thanks for the video. I had a Terra Firma head I was trying to remove. There was no screw, but it came right off after I tightened it and twisted it. Seems obvious now, but I didn't figure it out.

I was wondering if i had to buy a separate, bare center column to use the tripod i already own with an extension arm i was planning to buy. Maybe i'll still buy one if they sell them, so i don't have to do the whole process every time i want to switch and can just quickly swap the center columns. Regardless, thanks so much for this information!
