For anyone confused on the bottom compression straps, this is a prototype with 2 G lock buckles, the production packs have a male buckle and 1 G-lock. Simply use the G-lock buckle and hook it to the Gravelly bottom webbing and leave the Male buckle unused.
So I guess I have the "old' Metcalf version - no orange loops. But I think this is the same frame? Can you confirm I could Gravelly as a day pack with meat shelf capability on my frame, but without the orange loops I can't use it as a hitchhiker?
Hopefully the g hooks will be sold separately? My metcalf 50 only came with 1 g hook on each of the bottom compression straps, not 2 like shown in this video...
I have the same question, my frame also has only 1 g hook as well on the bottom and a male buckle that clips into the bottom of the Metcalf 50, how is this supposed to work?
