Btw there’s a glitch to hide from krills in plain sight Spam the drop dead emote, they can’t see you while you spam it lol. Spam the emote until the krill passes, and keep doing it after you think it passed, because it will look back after a few seconds

I open a chat area occasionally and hold therapy sessions for Sky child’s who have fallen victim to the dark spiky hotdog.

Bruh I was in a hiding spot and the beetle thing pushed me into a krill's line of sight and I was just 👁👄👁

When I was new to Sky and kind of stupid I decided it would be a smart idea to try to ride on the backs of the krill. Needless to say, it did not end well and now I'm traumatized.

Petition to change the caption for golden wasteland from "Beyond the barren wastes, the vault of knowledge awaits" to "Beware, here be dragons"

the krill caught you while flying and is charging at you? worry not! fly to one of the nearest wall as fast as you can, quickly change your direction by constantly sweeping up, not only you avoid the krill attack, you also make it hit its head on a wall lol

As a veteran it is extremely beneficial to just memorize the routes the Krills/Dark Dragons (I still prefer calling them Krills) take. Also memorize the safe areas. This will save a lot of time especially when farming or completing quests. I suggest staying at different corners of the map to observe. Most Krills just rotate anyways so it should be easy peasy to familiarize yourself with. If you guys want to make things even easier just memorize a route that you can safely take when entering Wasteland. That’s all that I can say XD Have a safe flight! ✨

I recently saw a comment asking about lost stars (it’s in my notifications but can’t find it anywhere else) soooooo, yes. You can get your lost stars back. You’ll have to find them though. They will be in their usual places but you don’t know which stars you lost. So you’ll have to fly to where you previously got your stars and check which one’s you lost. :)

when I first saw the Krill I was terrified. I kept trying to remind myself that there were amazing creatures of light, but the krill looked too scary, and I just tried to avoid it, I ended up leaving the game cause I got too scared. Also, the colors, the whole place was green and black with only a little bit of sunlight peeking through the clouds. I honestly know why they call it a wasteland.

I just started playing this and when i got here i stop thos things are creepy, i got scared when they attack me and quits the game immediately lol Hi again, I didn’t quit this game 😆 i’m still playing now and this video helped me a lot! I’m not scared of them anymore 🎉

This one still works to this day; When one sees you, open your emotes and click the "go home" option (arch) but DO NOT GO HOME. Just leave the window open. The game doesn't want you to be krilled while you're determining whether to go home or not, so the krill just leaves you alone. Keep it open for at least 15 seconds after the krill's light goes blue.

Completely went into this game expecting a peaceful time. The most I was surprised by were the angry crabs….until I got here. And heard a krill shriek for the first time 0.0

I consider the various improper ways to avoid losing stars quite helpful for someone who is new. These assurances help new players to take more risks and overcome fear, making the learning process easier. However, we shouldn't just rely on these tricks though, because they may be removed, and I think there just is satisfaction with mastering this art of stealth and avoidance.

I remembered when it was my first time going to golden wasteland, basically the first area of a one krill. I was just standing there relieving a spirit, and me being so dumb that i thought it was friendly. Too late when i got attacked lol. After that, im having anxiety when i see one and the sound they make omg. I'm being careful now but it still give me nightmares.

I like the thrill of just walking in golden wasteland and just vigorously and repeatedly say "just keep swimming" from finding nemo like saying just keep running.

Flying isn't recommended in a place with 4 krills, they can detect you when you're flying and there is no hiding spots in the air. The safest way is to stay on ground and keep pressing jump, it's the fastest and safest way to move and there's plenty of places for you to hide

So there's this guy who dragged me on wasteland coz we met when we were doing a candle run on hidden forest. I've never been on wasteland that long and never completed it. All i can say is his route was so awesome. He's been bringing me with him when he's doing a candle run from isle of dawn to vault of knowledge and we've never experienced being attacked or just being on the red spot of a krill. We got all the wax and he even helped me collect all the stars.

I’m at the Golden Wasteland part of Sky, and I was petrified when I saw one of those dark dragons. I once carried all my courage a few days later to the Golden Wasteland, and I got hit by the face of, well, yeah, a dark dragon. I lost a LOT of children of light, and I never went there again. This video is helping, but is there a way to deflect a dark dragon attack? If not, I can clearly tell that this game is harder than I thought. It also gave me nightmares. Curse those dark dragons. And I have no idea how you do it. I am speechless.

i love how this video is tactical rather than easy-going. what i mean by "easy-going" is using out of bound tricks that aren't supposedly included in the game. There’s a way where u dont lose star even they hit u. Simply click the setting button, then click home but dont press anything and wait till the krill pass

I remember this one spot in the wasteland. It was a tiny dome with a lone light in the top right corner. That place is malicious. It looks like its safe but it isn't. Its where I first got krilled as well

You can actually avoid the krills direct attack without getting out of its sight. The attack has a huge range but it's predetermined depending on how far away you are from it when it starts it's attack. You can just fly a good distance away while it's aiming at you and the moment it attacks dash two or 3 times and it's attack will miss. It's actually sort of a game for me. The easiest map to do this is in the oasis because there's a straight path clear of obstacles where it's extremely easy to perform this technique, tho it's possible to do on the other maps as well. Mastering this technique is useful outside of just having fun as well since you can learn to use it on the fly to avoid being damaged if you're too far away from cover

Honestly, being in the ground isn't risky at all. Just get behind the Krill, following their path. They won't see you unless they happen to cross paths with another.

I started the game yesterday and when I entered wastland and saw the dragon they scared the shit out of me and I had a nightmare about them when I went to sleep 👁👄👁💔 Now I am trying to over come my fear 😀

When I get attacked I always click the go home button, I don't actually click the ✔️ I just have the menu open in there, krill attacks and then I wait for a few seconds and get up. Somehow no stars are lost when you do it

Just so you guys know, the home button glitch doesn’t work on the krills in the Eye of Eden(I talk from experience ;-;). They are magik bois XD

My first time doing the golden wasteland I didn't see the krills at all (not even in the beginning where you meet the 1st krill) So I was running into the blue light thinking it would lead me to the exit. My game must have glitched because I didn't get hit

I still remember the first time I met Krills: I foolishly dropped down and I probably didn't see Krills. I hid in the little triangle object and played dead. I didn't run when I saw blue. I didn't run when I saw red. You can probably guess what happened next. Krills attacked me. I turned the game off. I was terrified. I haven't gone back since. Edit: THANK YOU! I play sky in around 12 cuz its the only time i can use and when i was at the wasteland and first saw the krills i was screaming in whispers because i was so freaked out

I just started this game and when I saw that thing and it saw me I immediately turned around and ran and went home. I haven't been back since but this video has given me more confidence 😂

so short story : the first time i went to the wastelands i legit had a heart attack and i hadn't even seen the krills. so i was flying around seeing where i should go and then i fell down on the ship and lost almost all my stars to crabs...well long story short i had to start all the way from isle.

God, lucky me, when I first went to the wasteland, some player dragged me by the hand through the entire place just to get me to safety. That was quite a traumatizing experience

when i first went in golden wasteland i saw a krill i was like ohnaw,OHNAW IM GETTING OUTA HERE the like it locked on the manta and i couldnt see the manta so i was so scared

there is a bigger monster than krill but didn't know his name. You can avoid krill by flying towards him but higher or lower

Just now i was with a group of people opening the gate for eye of eden. I went ahead and showed them a safe path from the winds, rocks and red stones. I look back and almost all of them left. I caught a glimpse of one doing the kneeling position so you can teleport home- LMAO

I personally like going to wasteland and playing peek-a-boo with the shremps, but they get amgery and instantly charge on the 5th or 6th time

My trick: Although it might not seem like it works, the sneak stance JUST covers the tip of your head when you’re hiding. If you didn’t use the sneak stance, the krill can still see you when you hide, so the sneak stance actually does live up to it’s name, and isn’t just for looks.

my Friends taught me the "home trick" where you basically go into the menu, press home but don't choose any of the possibilities (just stay at the home menu) and wait till the krill attacks. he will still yeet u but u won't lose any stars. i often Play with the krillis, they're adorable.

Ive been trying to gather the courage for days just to enter the Krill's territory. As I waited like usual, the first krill twitched a little, then turned and just dove into the ground. I thought it did that to take a break, but when another player came by, they hesitated at first until they noticed the dragon was stuck. So we both just went on through without the krill ever noticing cuz its head was in the ground. I enjoyed that moment for a good couple of minutes before the game eventually caught onto the bug and fixed it. I couldn't quit laughing. But now, I'm at the "nest".... Edit: THANKS TO ANOTHER PLAYER HELPING ME AND ANOTHER NEWBIE OUT, WE BOTH GOT THROUGH THE WASTELANDS. I'm not scared of the krills anymore 😃 i named the helper "Venus" and they were awesome and friendly ❤ each time we got attacked, we hugged each other and healed ourselves. ^-^ They helped us all the way through the level before logging off. Now I've reached the Eye of Eden. I no longer consider the Wastelands to be "terrifying" ...
